M3GAN is streaming for free ahead of the sequel’s release – here’s where you can watch it

M3GAN 2.0 is out in cinemas this week, so if you want to rewatch the original, we’ve got good news.

As of now, the movie titled M3GAN can be streamed for free in the UK on Channel 4’s streaming platform. This follows its broadcast on Channel 4 over the weekend.

A doll equipped with sophisticated AI serves as a cherished companion for a solitary young girl. However, when the title character becomes fixated on this relationship, it resorts to eliminating anyone who poses a threat to its bond with her.

What to Read Next

M3GAN received widespread acclaim from critics, as evidenced by 93% of the 317 reviews on Rotten Tomatoes praising the movie.

Despite being marketed as a science-fiction horror, the movie unexpectedly adopted a comedic tone when dealing with the topic of artificial intelligence. The unique mix of absurdity and dark humor is what ultimately won over critics.

It’s not surprising, given the plot, that the sequel seems to emphasize scenes where M3GAN confronts a more dangerous adversary – an android – judging from the previews and promotional materials.

In the upcoming sequel, original actors Amie Donald and Jenna Davies reprise their roles for M3GAN, just like Allison Williams who plays the character of Gemma, the doll maker, and young talents Violet McGraw as Cady and Brian Jordan Alvarez as Cole will also return to their respective parts.

Meanwhile, a M3GAN spin-off titled SOULM8TE is set for next year.

Rather than exploring the relationship between a young girl and a murderous doll, the story will shift its attention towards a recently divorced individual and their intimate connection with a sex robot.

Moviegoers can catch M3GAN 2.0 in theaters starting this coming Friday, the 25th of June, whereas the original M3GAN is available for free streaming on Channel 4.

The inaugural print edition of Digital Spy’s magazine, titled “British Comedy Legends,” is now available for purchase! You can grab a copy from your local newsagents or buy it online, currently retailing at only £3.99.
