Universal Pictures has hinted at an intense summer with the last trailer for its eagerly awaited horror-sci fi sequel, M3GAN 2.0. The fresh clip suggests a thrilling follow-up that’s set to make a powerful impact when it arrives in cinemas in June. The sinister doll who captivated pop culture in 2023 seems to be transforming into a Terminator-like figure, ready to battle against a new advanced robot named Amelia. However, this time around, it appears she’ll offer more battles than chills, and opinions among fans of the series seem to be split over the genre shift.
In the potential sequel, M3GAN, whose name stands for “Model 3 Generative Android,” might return to the silver screen with some changes under her metal skin – figuratively speaking. Character designer Gemma (Allison Williams) has equipped this notorious robot with upgraded features, making her quicker, stronger, and deadlier than ever.
