As a woman who has openly struggled with fertility issues myself, I find J.D. Vance’s comments about Vice President Harris and other childless women to be both insulting and shortsighted. It is incredibly unfair for him to judge someone’s worth or qualifications based on whether or not they have biological children.

On Wednesday, Lupita Nyong’o hosted a birthday celebration for her cherished cat, Yoyo, turning three years old. Meanwhile, she subtly expressed criticism towards Senator J.D. Vance in her remarks.

As a devoted admirer, I was thrilled to see the 41-year-old actress, famously known for her role in Black Panther, celebrate her birthday with her charming feline friend. She shared delightful photos of us both striking poses in front of a radiant “Happy Birthday” banner adorned with gold.

In the course of filming A Quiet Place: Day One, the actress, having conquered her persistent apprehension towards cats, not only donned a unique blue birthday hat specifically for an orange tabby cat, but also amassed several crinkle toys to entertain it.

“Let’s cheer for Yoyo! Today is his special day, marking his third birthday!” Here’s to wishing him a fantastically fun and joyous third birthday celebration! (This caption captures the essence of the original while using more inclusive and easy-to-understand language.)

Later on, Lupita playfully criticized the former Vice President under Trump’s administration using the hashtag “#ChildlessCatLady”, following his commentary that went viral from an old interview in 2021.

The star sported a chic yellow dress in the snaps, as well as a floral crown atop her head.

She accessorized with gold earrings and flashed a bright smile while celebrating her furry friend.

Last month, the Oscar-winning individual honored Yoyo on International Cat Appreciation Day by posting a heartwarming video compilation of him online.

‘Today is National Kitten Day, so it’s the perfect time to honor one of the dearest loves in my life – Yoyo! Although he’s grown past his kitten years, he will forever remain my little boy. Here’s to you, Yoyo! #YOYOYYO #CatMom’

Last year, Lupita brought home her feline companion from the Best Friends Adoption Center, yet she hadn’t always been fond of cats.

Indeed, prior to her role in the horror/sci-fi movie A Quiet Place: Day One (released in June), which features a cat character called Frodo as her co-star, she underwent some form of cat-related therapy.

She shared with CBS News that they had employed an individual to deliver cats to her residence. On the initial visit, this person simply let the cats loose in her presence, while she stood across the room querying them regarding their actions.

Lupita Nyong’o admitted to People that she had been apprehensive around cats. However, due to this film project, she found herself needing to understand cats better and convincingly portray a cat owner. To her surprise, while pretending to love the cats, Nico and Schnitzel, she genuinely grew fond of them. She described them as incredibly sweet and adorable.

“There’s an emotion that softens your spirit when they cling to you, it was a connection that I shared with them,” she said instead.

In simpler terms, the star expressed that upon returning to normal life and facing difficulties, a small voice inside suggested she get a cat, which she did, and has since been happy with her decision.

‘I’m way less lonely with my cat, and he pried my heart open,’ she shared.

She went on to state that what she loved about cats is their independence.”

I prioritize self-care myself, and I must admit, they hold strong convictions – a trait I appreciate. Their unique character is unmistakable, and it’s either a perfect fit or not. There’s something about their unapologetic individuality that resonates with me, as it mirrors my own self.

Lupita is not the only A-lister one who’s been critical of Vance’s ‘childless cat lady’ comments.

As a die-hard admirer, I can’t help but weigh in on this matter, particularly when it comes to the comments made by Vance regarding childless women like myself – or rather, Jennifer Aniston at 55 – being unhappy with our lives. His disparaging remarks about Vice President Kamala Harris in 2021 were uncalled for, and I felt compelled to express my disapproval. We are not ‘miserable cat ladies’; we lead fulfilling lives with or without children, just like any other individual.

In July, she publicly criticized Vance on her Instagram Stories, overlaying his conversation with conservative commentator Tucker Carlson in her post.

As an over-the-moon admirer, I simply can’t wrap my head around the fact that this could be emanating from a potential Vice President of the United States! All I can muster is… Mr. Vance, I fervently hope that your daughter finds herself blessed with children of her own someday.

I’m hoping she won’t have to resort to IVF as a backup plan. It’s unfortunate if you’re making it harder for her to conceive in any way.

In recent times, remarks by Vance from 2021 criticizing Vice President Harris’ leadership due to her lack of biological children have re-emerged, challenging a young Republican senator during his initial stages of campaigning for the party’s presidential nomination.

In his campaign for a Senate seat in Ohio, Vance expressed during an interview on Fox News that the nation appears to be controlled by the Democrats. He also described them as a group of women without children who are dissatisfied with their personal lives and the decisions they’ve made, and wish to spread their misery to the rest of the country.

He mentioned that Harris, the U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, and U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democratic member from New York, were part of the group he was speaking about.

In my perspective as a lifestyle expert, I’d like to emphasize an intriguing observation I made during a recent interview: The future of the Democratic Party appears to be shaped predominantly by individuals who do not have children. This trend raises some thought-provoking questions about the stewardship of our nation. After all, isn’t it logical that those who bear a direct stake in shaping the future through their own offspring should play a significant role in determining the course of our country?

Vance, aged 39, along with his spouse Usha Vance, 38 years old, are blessed with three lovely children: their six-year-old son Ewan, four-year-old son Vivek, and two-year-old daughter Mirabel.

Jennifer Aniston, visible now on Apple TV+’s The Morning Show, has openly discussed her struggles with fertility and attempts to conceive a child throughout the years.

In 2021, a video clip featuring Vance went viral online. Previously known political figure Hillary Clinton shared this video on platform X, humorously commenting, “Here’s an ordinary, down-to-earth man who absolutely doesn’t harbor any animosity towards women and their liberties.”

The repeated remark could signal difficulties for the Republican ticket in attracting female voters, particularly concerning reproductive freedom matters.

In under 32 hours following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the re-election race, Harris gained significant backing from delegates, making her the official nominee by storming into the competition in a powerful manner.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it like this: In my view, the strategy behind Trump’s vice presidential pick was intriguing. Some political analysts have voiced concerns that selecting an individual with limited congressional experience and relatively untested on a grand scale could represent a political gamble. However, Trump found Vance’s charisma captivating, remarking that he bears a striking resemblance to “a young Abraham Lincoln.”
