Lumeshift looks like a bold take on the team-based shooter genre, soft launches on Android in select regions

Story Highlights

  • Lumeshift seems inspired by Valve’s upcoming MOBA shooter, Deadlock.
  • The game offers fast-paced 15-min battles, over 10 unique heroes with diverse skills and weapons, vibrant maps, and more.

Aestus Mobile has quietly released its new team-based shooter, Lumeshift, for Android users in Brazil and Indonesia. The game is a 5v5 MOBA-style shooter and is still being developed, so there are no current plans for an iOS version or a wider global release.

Dive into fast-paced hybrid battles with unique heroes

Lumeshift reminds me of Deadlock, the MOBA shooter Valve is working on. Both games let you choose from a variety of heroes, each with special weapons and skills. You then team up with five players and fight to win on a map with three paths.

Zipline seems really interesting – it throws you right into fast-paced battles that only last about 15 minutes. It reminds me a lot of Overwatch. As someone who likes both strategy games and shooters, I’m excited to see developers trying out this mix of both, even if some people think it’s borrowing ideas from other games.

I’m really excited about this game! It looks like teaming up with coordinated attacks and powerful ultimate moves will be key to victory. I can’t wait to play all the different heroes – there are over ten, including Blaze, Ravenna, and Eira – because they all look and play so uniquely. The game is shaping up to be fantastic, with colorful maps, quick 5v5 battles, and amazing graphics. Hopefully, it will be available worldwide soon!

Lumeshift is now available for a limited release on Android in Brazil and Indonesia. If you’re in either of those countries, you can download it from the Google Play Store. We’ll share news about the iOS version and a wider release soon.
