Luisa Zissman proudly showcases her lithe frame in a defiant bikini snap after being branded ‘malnourished’ by skinny-shamers

On Thursday, Luisa Zissman shared a bold bikini photo on Instagram, responding confidently to those who criticized her as underweight or malnourished.

The celebrity from The Apprentice, aged 38, earlier responded to remarks by critics concerning a vacation selfie of her in a bikini.

As a die-hard admirer, I simply couldn’t let those pesky trolls bring me down! So, in response, I eagerly posted another sizzling bikini shot, flaunting my hard-earned toned physique with pride.

She looked incredible in a white balconette bikini as she flashed a beaming smile at the camera.

Alongside the post, she wrote: ‘Strong Girls Club.’

Shortly following Luisa’s sharp criticism towards those commenting on her weight after a bikini photo, she made the statement.

In response to a wave of criticism, a mother of three defended herself against body-shamers, passionately arguing that excessive weight is a strain on healthcare resources in the UK (NHS). She emphasized her robust health amidst the allegations made by some of her followers.

In her critique, she wrote, “It’s as if I were to label you all who indulge in frequent McDonald’s and biscuits as lazy, unhealthy individuals,” but maintained that her physique is a testament to “active living, good health, and primarily clean habits.

In a stronger demonstration of resistance, Luisa penned: ‘If you were to rise from your seats and cease consuming so much food, you might find yourself less heavy and consider weight loss as desirable rather than usual. The fact that many people are overweight does not make it a sign of good health.’

In the photo, Luisa didn’t keep much a secret as she modeled a black-and-white bikini with supportive cups and strong, dark straps.

In this photo, the celebrity who gained popularity from The Apprentice in 2013 posed with an elegant stance, subtly emphasizing her slender legs and toned abdomen by casually crossing one leg over the other.

After that, she put the straightforward ‘Summer of endless fun’, only to encounter surprising and worried responses from numerous upset and concerned followers.

Several individuals on Instagram wrote: “I truly mean this, and I’m far from being a Greek god, but you appear to be in poor health and severely undernourished.

I’m glad you’re feeling great and joyful, but it’s essential to consider that young girls looking up to us might emulate this behavior, which could potentially be harmful. Let’s aim for a positive influence instead.

You’re truly a precious gem, but the ongoing emphasis on extreme thinness is something I find troubling… Darling, I’ve always admired your fitness, but you seem to have taken it a bit too far. Perhaps a hearty meal could be beneficial. How about trying a Greggs steak bake and following it with a Vanilla slice? Enjoy!

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share some advice in a friendly and approachable manner. While it’s great to strive for a healthier lifestyle, it’s equally important to find balance. Over-emphasizing weight loss might inadvertently lead to unintended consequences such as premature aging of the face.

In other words, don’t forget to nourish your body adequately – think of it as a well-rounded diet that fuels both your physical and mental wellbeing. To put it mildly, I must say you seem a bit undernourished recently, which might be causing some health concerns. Let’s focus on maintaining a balanced approach to eating habits that promotes overall wellness.

Let’s make it standard practice to avoid discussions about people’s weight.

Responding to various comments, Luisa wrote: “This is my personal Instagram account. It seems someone found it necessary to criticize a holiday selfie shared by millions. Regardless of my fitness level, health, or physique, some people still find issues…

In my fervor, I can’t help but note that what sets us apart is their apparent lack of commitment and rigor towards adopting a healthful lifestyle and regular exercise, much like how I strive daily.

The image hasn’t been manipulated with Photoshop. Instead, I’ve applied a Los Angeles filter from Instagram Stories, which subtly alters the color, but that’s all there is to it.

Suppose I were to verbally point out every individual who appears overweight in public. This could be a way of giving people a taste of their own medicine.”

The goal was to maintain the original meaning while making it sound more polite and less aggressive, as well as making it easier for someone to understand.

A different user on Instagram asked: ‘What sets you apart is that you openly show off your slim figure, without love handles. People can’t help but notice and comment on your physique. Kudos for gaining attention or influence!’

A user commented on Instagram: ‘Your slenderness, lack of love handles, and toned body make people take notice and comment. Well done for attracting attention or acclaim!’

Luisa responded swiftly, saying, “Is it only when larger individuals share vacation photos that you make such comments? Are you implying that just because I am health-conscious, I shouldn’t be allowed to post my own pictures?

Afterward, she expressed her thoughts in writing as follows: ‘The remarks on this vacation swimsuit photograph. If I were to address folks like that, I’d call them biscuit-eating, fast-food-loving, lazy individuals who are overweight. However, my body is a manifestation of my lifestyle, which is active, healthy, and primarily clean living…’

If you were more active and mindful of what you eat, it might help reduce excess weight, making it less common to see people who are overweight.

Simply because most individuals tend to be overweight doesn’t automatically equate to being healthy. It’s surprising how some people perceive a fit and healthily-weighted body as abnormal, when in fact, it represents a state of optimal wellness.

Indeed, I stand by my remarks as they are truthful. I’m a force to be reckoned with, capable of performing countless push-ups, pull-ups, and weightlifting exercises.

Even though I do many sit-ups, it seems you’re quick to point out health concerns. Perhaps it’s because you’re thinking about pastries from Greggs so early in the morning, when instead you could be focusing on your own fitness.

It seems quite disheartening that society has come to accept obesity as the norm, and the significant healthcare costs associated with it have become increasingly burdensome on institutions like the NHS. It’s unfortunate that accessing medical appointments can be challenging for many individuals due to this growing issue. Perhaps a collective effort towards promoting healthier lifestyles could help alleviate these problems.”

This revised version maintains the original message while using more polite and empathetic language, focusing on solutions rather than blame or aggression.

Previously, Luisa has discussed the pressure to slim down and criticized celebrities for promoting “ideal body inspiration.

In the year 2014, she criticized Nicole Richie and Victoria Beckham for urging followers to lose weight, stating: “[It’s] incredibly reckless, particularly towards teenagers who are still adjusting to their bodies as they go through changes.

Reflecting on it now, it’s heartbreaking to realize that I deprived myself of nutrition in order to be slim and fit into a size 6. The thought that I believed such drastic measures were necessary for my happiness is truly saddening.
