Lucy Fallon covers her baby bump with a purple tracksuit as she runs errands in Manchester – after announcing she is expecting her second child with footballer Ryan Ledson
As a seasoned observer of the ever-evolving world of soap operas, I must say that Lucy Fallon, the actress who plays Bethany Platt on Coronation Street, seems to be navigating her real-life journey with as much grace and tenacity as she does her on-screen character. Her desire for a larger family is heartwarming, even if her partner Ryan seems to need a little more persuading.
On a typical Wednesday, Lucy Fallon concealed her growing belly beneath a vibrant purple tracksuit while attending to various tasks in Manchester.
Last month, the 28-year-old actress, known for her role as Bethany Platt on the ITV soap opera, revealed that she and her footballer partner Ryan Ledson are expecting their second child.
On a Wednesday morning, Lucy drove into town ahead of schedule. Upon arrival, she pulled over, exited her vehicle while wearing a cozy-appearing pair of tan Ugg boots.
But she covered up her baby bump as she sported a lilac ROTATE Sunday sweatshirt, with a pair of matching tracksuit bottoms.
Lucy had her golden hair pulled half up, loosely styled, with the rest cascading down, revealing delicate hoop earrings neatly positioned behind her ears.
Just recently, Lucy announced with joy that her son Sonny Jude is going to welcome a baby sister into their family.
In the Instagram video, the actor along with his companion Ryan Ledson could be observed fixated on their phones, all while Oasis’ Songbird played softly in the backdrop.
The end of the video then showed a pink baby grow which read ‘little sister’.
It comes after Lucy announced she was expecting.
Earlier this month, Lucy posted a sweet video on Instagram showcasing that she is halfway through her pregnancy, as she gently held her tiny baby belly.
Actress Soap Star and 26-year-old footballer Ryan, a midfielder for Preston North End, joyfully announced the arrival of their newborn son, Sonny Jude, in January 2023.
With Sonny by their side, the pair were spotted engrossed in a book, accompanied by their little one. The scene then transitioned to show a positive pregnancy test and an ultrasound image, indicating a happy new development.
Lucy and Ryan met through friends back in 2017.
More naturally and easily readable: It appears that the actress from the soap opera has expressed her desire for two additional kids, yet it seems Ryan may require persuasion.
On ITV’s Drama Queens in April, the midfielder mused, “Perhaps just one more,” to which Lucy replied, “How about two more.
Ryan argued back: ‘One more for me, like’.
Lucy then had the final word as she added: ‘Two more. I have the uterus.’
The actress also opened up about her frustrations that Ryan is yet to pop the question.
Lucy mentioned: “It seems everyone assumes that dating a footballer brings plenty of glitzy perks, but Ryan is remarkably ordinary. He’s just an everyday guy hailing from Liverpool.
I’m single at the moment, and it seems to have turned into a bit of a humorous topic among my friends. The more I talk about it, though, the harder it appears to be for me to find a partner.
‘Maybe I need to stop talking about it and then it’ll happen… maybe.’
