Lucy Beaumont Joins Celebrity Traitors to Make a Name for Herself

I’m thrilled to share that I, too, have joined the cast of Celebrity Traitors after a surprising turn in my personal life with my comedy partner, Jon Richardson. (Lucy Beaumont reportedly did the same.)

The acclaimed comedienne, aged 40, reportedly aspires to further establish her reputation among viewers. She is set to embark on the series’ Scottish castle location for filming within the coming days.

Once more, Claudia Winkleman is set to host the show “Celebrity Traitors,” with a potential cast featuring Stephen Fry, Paloma Faith, and Alan Carr among others.

According to a source, Lucy is deeply fond of the program and can’t wait to dive into the work at Ardross Castle.

Following her separation from Jon, she’s been putting in a lot of effort to establish a stronger personal brand, and the show “Celebrity Traitors” presents an excellent platform for this.

2024 marked a surprising turn of events for me, as I found myself announcing my separation from Jon, my partner of nine years, following in the footsteps of Lucy – a comedian I’ve long admired and whose work has graced numerous panel shows and even earned her the Chortle Award for Best Newcomer back in 2012. This decision, though undoubtedly challenging, feels like the right path forward for me.

They share a daughter and tied the knot in April 2015, two years after they started dating in 2013.

In the course of events, I crossed paths with this remarkable duo for the very first time, thanks to our mutual friend, Roisin Conaty. Over time, we found ourselves collaborating on numerous productions, one of which was “Meet The Richardsons.

In an announcement made in April, they stated: ‘Following nine years of being married, we are declaring that we’ve chosen to live apart. With mutual understanding, we’ve decided to part ways and finalize our divorce.’

Jon handed over £1.625million to Lucy when they called time on their marriage.

Regarding our separation, she shared with OK! Magazine that although their relationship was well-known to the public, she prefers not to discuss it further. This is not due to any lingering hostility, but rather for personal reasons.

With anticipation growing for Celebrity Traitors, BBC officials are reportedly taking additional measures to ensure the cast remains confidential after a string of disclosures.

Based on The Sun’s report, they have organized a mission reminiscent of military operations for moving the main cast members to Ardross Castle.

Rather than jetting directly to Inverness Airport, celebrities will make their way using various modes of transport such as trains, planes, cars, and boats.

An official ban on flying drones has been enforced above Claudia’s Highlands Headquarters, aimed at preventing unauthorized photographers from capturing any pictures.

According to a source, figuring out the intricacies of a series known for its mystery and surprising storylines, when it comes to dealing with celebrities, has proven quite challenging.

Choosing individuals like TV host Kate Garraway, ex-rugby player Joe Marler, and singer Paloma Faith for a role might lead to an environment that’s more prone to rumors and information leaks compared to picking a call center manager from Liverpool or a retired opera singer.

‘So execs have worked really hard to lock down every inch of the production.’ 

Instead of a straightforward travel approach, it was mentioned that celebrities might show up using multiple modes of transportation.

Additionally, the source stated that a no-fly zone is currently active to prevent any ongoing preparations from being documented or observed.

A spokesperson for the BBC declined to comment.
