LUCKI Officially Drops “OverTh!nking”

LUCKI has stayed locked in as of late. In the past few weeks alone, the rapper has revealed the “Bad InFluence” Freestyle on YouTube, among a handful of other one-off cuts, along with the trailer for his next new studio project, DRUGS R BAD. For his first official studio release since GEMINI! dropped back in June, LUCKI has shared “OverTh!nking,” a less-than-two-minute track that comes equipped with a high-speed music video as well.

“Ayy, the deeper the thought, the deeper the thought, the better,” the rapper repeats on the chorus, delivered twice before and after one reflective verse. “I make a b*tch change on—, ayy / I make a b*tch change on everybody / How you lock eyes with a n*gga and you dead wrong / They gon’ write ‘Main Slime’ on your head stone,” he revs up at the top of the verse.

“I just felt like God in a BP in the red zone / Force field, Lamb’ truck from the ten speed / Mixеd feelings hangin’ with the snakes, nobody bit me.”

Soaked in captivating auto-tune and bolstered by polished beats, “OverThinking” represents a quintessential example of cloud rap, a genre that artist LUCKI appears to have mastered at this point.
