Lucinda Light to Host UK Reality Show

She’s a reality TV bride, author, marriage celebrant and holistic counsellor.

Currently, the well-liked participant from Married At First Sight, Lucinda Light, has unveiled an additional achievement – she is now a TV show host.

In the 2024 version of the popular reality show, Lucinda, aged 44, was a cast member but couldn’t establish long-term love with her partner, Timothy Smith.

This time around, she’ll be gracing our television screens once more, with her role as the host of the UK reality series titled The Honesty Box.

In the UK, later this month, the show, co-hosted by Lucinda and Vicki Pattison from Geordie Shore, will make its debut on E4.

On Monday, I enthusiastically took to Instagram to unveil a promotional snapshot from our upcoming series. The picture finds me standing alongside Vicki, with an exciting group of aspiring talents from the debut season behind us.

In the picture, she showcased some lengthy elegance with a patterned silk dress that had a high slit reaching her thighs.

Wearing a fedora-style hat, Lucinda was seen playfully tipping the brim as she posed next to Vicki.

‘Full cast. 9pm, @e4grams Starting 28 April Let’s go!’ Lucinda captioned the photo.

The post attracted numerous comments from fans, most of whom praised Lucinda for her new position as UK host.

Co-host Vicki was quick to comment with: ‘My partner in crime.’

E4 announced that each participant is prepared to explore a fresh strategy in their romantic lives, understanding that they’ll be put to the test as part of this revolutionary dating experiment, with the ultimate goal being the discovery of genuine affection.

In their new connections, there’s an opportunity to win a £100,000 reward. However, this can only happen if the Truetopians decide to openly express their genuine emotions and maintain complete transparency throughout.

Contestants will encounter “The Honesty Box,” an advanced truth verification system, which will delve into their past dating experiences. Drama is expected to unfold as a result.

Following her confession that there were hidden intentions behind her participation in Married At First Sight, Lucinda has now turned her attention towards the United Kingdom.

In an interview with the Herald Sun in March, Lucinda openly acknowledged that she utilized the reality TV show for multiple purposes: to showcase her work as a celebrant, public speaker, and MC; and also to seek romantic opportunities.

She expressed her eagerness to encounter the one who is truly special to her, and she imagined that if they did, they might introduce her to new experiences.

‘I also did have ulterior motives to get eyes on my celebrant business so guilty as charged.’

Lucinda mentioned that she rarely had enough time for the television series which brought her widespread fame across the country.

She expressed that it doesn’t bring joy to her. Essentially, everyone is risking themselves, unless one is seeking affection only on platforms like Tinder. It would be foolish to participate in a program like that, she stated.

Why on earth would you subject yourself to that? It began perhaps as innocent didgeridoo activities, but it’s morphed into something far beyond that, capable of shaping or ruining lives, truly.

2021 has been an extraordinary year for Lucinda, marked by the publication of her book titled “Shine Your Light,” which she released just recently.

If viewers of Married at First Sight were expecting her to reveal details about her experience on the popular series, they may find themselves let down instead.

In simpler terms, her latest book serves as a guidebook, designed to assist readers in enhancing their ability to understand and manage their own emotions, as well as those of others.

Lucinda stated to Daily Mail Australia that it’s all about helping individuals change their lives, providing emotional resources, and giving them the necessary tools for dealing with life.
