Will Young and Jessie Wynter, who found love on Love Island, posted a series of adorable photos from their engagement trip to the Maldives on Instagram on Monday.
The couple, who found love on a popular reality show in 2023, got engaged privately in Australia on December 9, 2025, and then traveled to the Maldives to celebrate.
Will and Jessie have been sharing sweet photos from their beach getaway, happily celebrating their engagement and looking forward to the future.
Jessie, 29, shared a photo of her engagement ring while Will sweetly embraced her from behind and kissed her cheek.
She looked stylish and relaxed in a white crop top and long skirt, and seemed very happy with her fiancé.
Meanwhile, Will, 25, matched his fiancé in a relaxed-fit white T-shirt and cream wide-leg trousers.
He looked incredibly happy while posing with Jessie on the beach, with a gorgeous pink sunset behind them.
I was so thrilled to see Jessie absolutely glowing in a recent photo! She was beaming while showing off that incredible diamond ring during a romantic, private dinner right on the beach. It was such a sweet and intimate moment, and you could just feel the happiness radiating from her!
Will shared that after proposing to Jessie in December, they decided to keep the engagement private. He wanted to find a way to celebrate her that felt truly meaningful and special.
He went on to say that they had a wonderful trip to the Maldives a few years ago, and they’d been talking ever since about returning someday.
Jessie confessed that if we took our planned trip next year—unaware we were leaving soon—she suspected I might propose during it.
‘So after proposing in Tasmania, surprising her with a trip back to the Maldives felt right.
It was just the two of us, back in a place filled with cherished memories, as we celebrated the start of our next adventure together.
This trip was incredibly special, and I’m so happy we had the chance to celebrate alone. I was relieved I got all the flights sorted out, too – though there’s a funny story about that for another time!
Jessie and Will recently announced they’re ready to start a family, sharing that they’re taking their relationship to the next stage.
Since leaving Love Island, Jessie and Will have been living on Will’s family’s 700-acre farm near Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, and are now in the process of building a house there.
Jessie shared that she’s finished planning her travels and is now ready to start a family with her fiancé, Will.
Jessie previously shared with the Daily Mail that she told Will she wanted to achieve some personal goals – like traveling and owning a home – before starting a family, and only when she felt fully ready.
So, the following week, we ended up traveling through Italy for a month – and that’s exactly what we did! We’ve now accomplished everything we wanted to.
Will shared that they’re planning to start a family and get married. They’re also in the process of building a house on their farm.
We already have a small farm with two donkeys, five alpacas, three goats, two pigs, and ten lambs. We’re excited to be growing our family!
Although they weren’t currently engaged, the couple shared their plans to get married – first in Australia, where Jessie is from, and then with another celebration in the UK.
Jessie explained that while they aren’t currently engaged, they plan to get married in Australia, specifically in Tasmania, with their immediate family present.
Will explained they’re planning two wedding celebrations. The first will be a small, private ceremony in Tasmania with their closest friends – people who have been important throughout their relationship. They’re also hosting a larger party in the UK for a wider group of guests.
Jessie explained that planning weddings can be stressful, and they wanted a small, private wedding in Tasmania. Their priority was to enjoy the day itself, rather than focusing on getting the perfect photos.
Will added: ‘I just want to make Jessie the happiest guy.’
