Love Island’s Shaughna Phillips reveals shocking selfie after getting lip filler and claims she was ‘really going through it’
As a dedicated follower and a connoisseur of the reality TV scene, I must say that Shaughna Phillips’ journey through the world of cosmetic enhancements is nothing short of captivating. Her resilience and openness about her experiences, good or bad, make her a relatable figure in an industry often plagued by superficiality.
On Saturday, Shaughna Phillips posted a surprising selfie on Instagram, confessing that she was experiencing a tough time following her Russian lip enhancement treatment.
As a devoted enthusiast, I shared an honest update on my personal social media platform at the age of 30, revealing the aftermath of a recent cosmetic treatment I underwent, which unfortunately led to unwanted swelling.
In a video shared on her Instagram Story, she demonstrated: “I should let you see for yourself just how terrible they were.”
To clarify, this wasn’t unexpected; it didn’t align with my preferred approach at all. In essence, this was the traditional Russian technique that causes inflation, and indeed, I experienced inflation.
‘In the following picture, the TV star was propped up in her bed and her lips looked red and angry.

She captioned the post: ‘ Guys I was really going through it..’
The Russian technique entails inserting vertical droplets of filler into the lips instead of filling below the lip’s edge.
It’s believed that this approach aids in increasing both size and height, resulting in a plumped-up or ‘pout’ appearance once the swelling subsides.
Previously, the stunning woman decided to dissolve all the fillers in her lips as she desired a different appearance.
As a dedicated admirer, I must confess that I was incredibly indecisive when it came to getting lip injections. Frankly, I can hardly recall my own visage without those plump pouty lips!
As someone who has navigated through the twists and turns of life, I firmly believe that there’s much more to living than simply focusing on superficial aspects like the size of one’s lips. In two weeks, I shall return with a fresh start, eager to rebuild and refine my approach piece by piece. This time around, I aim to make incremental progress rather than rushing into things. The thrill of shaping my destiny bit by bit is truly exhilarating, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me.

In the past, Shaugha has openly discussed the various cosmetic procedures she’s had done, such as liposuction to manage an unusual accumulation of fat in her legs due to a medical condition.
Speaking candidly, I’d like to clarify that each round of liposuction I’ve undergone was indeed medically necessary. However, looking back, I might have reconsidered splurging a whopping £25,000 on it.
I underwent liposuction on both my thighs and calves, as well as breast augmentation years prior. The cost was considerable, but the decision was largely influenced by the fact that it was shortly after Love Island, making me feel as though I needed the procedure at the time.
Feeling as though everyone’s gaze was upon me, I now realize that if I had understood just how much it would hurt, I might not have gone through with it.
