Samie Elishi has headed to Dubai to enjoy some sunshine after expressing frustration with dating in London during the winter.
The Love Island contestant posted some glamorous photos on Instagram, showing her in a small bikini top and long white skirt while at the Rixos The Palm Hotel & Suites.
Samie, 25, showed off her tan in some beautiful photos, jokingly writing that London was too cold.
The new photos appear after the influencer announced she’s going back on Love Island, hoping to find lasting love after two previous unsuccessful attempts on the show.
Samie recently told the Daily Mail that dating can be really difficult, and she’s currently finding it particularly challenging.
Dating is tough for me, but it’s not because of shows like Love Island. I think the problem is just the quality of men available right now – they’re not meeting my standards, to be honest.
It feels impossible to find a good partner – there’s always some issue. I don’t think my work is the problem, but I think it’s a characteristic of people my age right now. Plus, things just feel bleak and unwelcoming around here.
This year, Samie joined the cast of Love Island: All Stars. Show producers flew her to South Africa with a specific goal: to see if they could get Luca Bish to leave Grace Jackson, knowing he had previously messaged Samie online.
Despite not finding love on the show and returning home alone, Samie has said she wouldn’t have missed the opportunity to appear on All Stars again.
She said: ‘I love the show, it has given me everything that I have now, I will always be a top fan.
I’ll never forget my first time on the show! I was such a big fan – I’d actually bought a Love Island water bottle online two years earlier. I love the show so much, I’d applied to be a contestant three times.
I’m open to the possibility of doing All Stars – it’s a fantastic chance! I feel fortunate to have been on the show twice already, though I don’t really consider my second appearance a full run, and that’s okay.
‘I don’t think anyone would say no if they had the opportunity. Who doesn’t want some winter sun?
Just because this might be my third time doesn’t change anything – any opportunity is worth considering. It’s like saying I’ve worked with ASOS twice before and wouldn’t want to do it again – why wouldn’t I? It’s a fantastic chance.
Samie’s most recent relationship was with I’m A Celeb star Sam Thompson.
The 25-year-old social media personality recently dated Sam, who previously won a reality TV competition, for two months. This was Sam’s first public relationship after a five-year romance with Zara McDermott.
Samie explained that while she and her partner are still friends, their romantic relationship ended because they were both too busy.
