Love Island’s Paige Thorne is pregnant with her first child.
The 28-year-old reality star shared some exciting news on Instagram Monday night: she’s dating boxer Drew Wedlake!
Oh my gosh, you guys, they posted the cutest video! It’s Paige and [partner’s name] on the beach, and Paige is glowing! She’s showing off her baby bump – it’s getting so big and adorable! – and she was wearing this amazing yellow outfit, like a matching set. I seriously can’t handle the cuteness!
The television personality clutched an ultrasound scan, while Drew tenderly kissed her stomach.
The post shared a sweet message: ‘Half of me, half of you. Baby Wedlake, arriving in September, is already so loved!’
A host of Love Island alumni took to the comments to share their congratulations.
Oh my gosh, Rosie Williams actually wrote ‘So special, congratulations beautiful’! I’m seriously losing it! And Danica Taylor just posted ‘Finally my girl’ – she gets it, you guys, she totally gets it! I knew they’d be supportive, but seeing it actually written… it’s everything!
Tasha Ghouri added: ‘This is so so beautiful congratulations’.
The couple publicly confirmed their relationship on Instagram last July and since then, they’ve appeared together at red carpet events and enjoyed multiple vacations.
I was so thrilled when Paige and Drew decided to take their relationship to the next level! They’d only been dating for three months when Paige moved in with Drew, who you might remember auditioning for The X Factor back in 2017. It wasn’t easy for her though, uprooting her whole life and leaving Swansea to be with him in Bristol, but she was totally committed to making it work.
Last month, she shared that she’d moved in with her boyfriend after only knowing him for about three months.
‘I have moved in to Bristol away from my family, away from my routine, away from my home life.
I struggled with the changes, so I kept returning to Swansea, back and forth. I couldn’t establish a stable routine or find time to relax.
Former paramedic Paige joined Love Island on its eight season and was eventually dumped on day 56.
In 2022, while on the show filmed in South Africa, Paige became romantically involved with Jacques O’Neill and paired up with him on multiple occasions.
They initially connected after the Casa Amor segment, but she was left alone when Jacques decided to leave the show. She then started dating Adam Collard, but the public voted for them to be eliminated.
They shortly split after the show.
Paige had a relationship with rapper Formz, real name Josh Foreman. They split in 2024.
