Love Island’s Megan Moore shares cryptic post about ‘deserving better’ after her split from Dejon Noel-Williams

After recently ending her relationship with Dejon Noel-Williams, Love Island star Megan Moore posted a vague message on Sunday hinting that she believes she deserves more.

The 26-year-old influencer and the 27-year-old athlete reportedly split up in early December after arguing several times during a vacation.

And just days before Christmas Dejon confirmed the separation on his Instagram Story.

After her split, Megan posted a meaningful message on social media, saying it’s okay to recognize your own worth and ask for what you deserve. She shared the quote, ‘Normalize saying ”I deserve better” because you absolutely do.’

Keep repeating this to yourself until it truly feels true. Don’t let fear or self-doubt stop you from getting the love, respect, and happiness you deserve.

‘You’re worthy of more. Never settle for less.’

Just before Christmas, Dejon confirmed that he and his partner have broken up, sharing the sad news on Instagram.

After leaving the show, the star dealt with a lot of online negativity. They shared that while their relationship since then has created amazing moments, it’s also been challenging, especially with the added pressure of public attention. They’ve been juggling this with their job as a personal trainer and starting a new business.

As many of you know, Dejon and I have decided to go our separate ways. Honestly, it’s been really tough, and I’m truly heartbroken to confirm we’re no longer together. I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us on Love Island and beyond – your kindness means the world to me.

They first connected during the summer season and were the only couple who remained together from the beginning until they were eliminated shortly before the finale.

I was really saddened to hear that Dejon and Meg have broken up. He shared that they’ve gone their separate ways after being together for almost seven months, and it sounds like he’s taking it pretty hard.

Our relationship since leaving the show has been filled with amazing moments, but also challenges. Being in the public spotlight while I tried to balance my career as a personal trainer and launch a new business was particularly tough.

I’m sad that things didn’t work out, and I know adjusting to this change will be difficult for both of us. However, I truly hope Meg finds happiness in the future.

I’m really sorry to share this unexpectedly, but I’ve always believed in being honest with all of you who have supported me as I’ve searched for love.

It’s with a heavy heart that I’m sharing the news that Dejon and I have decided to go our separate ways. I’m incredibly thankful for all the wonderful memories we created together, and I truly appreciate the outpouring of love and support you’ve all shown us throughout our time as a couple. It means the world to me.

Look, all I’m asking is just… please give me some space right now. This whole thing is just… a lot to process, and I really need a little time and understanding to figure things out. It’s honestly overwhelming, and I just want to deal with it privately for a bit.

Dejon and Megan surprised everyone who doubted them by staying together for seven months. They were eliminated from the show only a day before the finale, and many didn’t expect their relationship to last.

The Islanders who had been eliminated earlier returned to help decide which couple would make it to the final and win the £50,000 prize. Ultimately, Dejon and Megan were the couple voted off just before the end.

After viewers called Dejon controlling and self-centered due to his actions on the show, his former colleagues voted against him and his partner.

Unlike the other contestants on this summer’s Love Island, he – a former footballer who now works as a personal trainer – directly acknowledged the show’s cameras and talked about how viewers might be seeing his relationship with Megan.

Speaking for the first time since leaving the show, Dejon said he is capable of empathy, but felt disoriented and unsure of himself while on the program. He explained that it was especially hard for him to open up and show his feelings on TV.

After receiving a surge of online harassment – including hateful messages and even death threats – he was forced to disable comments on his social media profile.

After leaving the show, Dejon started a new fitness business called Vibe Tribe Run Club. It’s a group that meets for weekly runs in central London.

Megan supported Dejon in the venture, even completing her first 5K by taking part in the project.
