Love Island’s Maura Higgins slips into a racy cutaway gown as she celebrates her 35th birthday on a lavish girls’ trip to Dubai

Maura Higgins turned heads in a daring dress while celebrating her 35th birthday with a luxurious getaway with her friends.

The Love Island star spent this week in Dubai with her friends, model Sophia Laura and photographer Liat Benezra.

Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, Maura shared a sultry selfie showing off her birthday outfit.

She turned heads in a bold burgundy dress. The sheer halterneck featured a dramatic, large cutout in the front.

The night before, Maura had a fancy dinner at Mott 32 Dubai, a popular Chinese restaurant.

At dinner, Maura showcased her toned stomach wearing a revealing white crop top with ruffled detailing and low-rise white jeans.

Oh my gosh, Maura just posted the sweetest picture! She’s staying at this gorgeous hotel, and they totally decked out her room for her birthday! It was covered in pink balloons – ‘Happy Birthday’ and hearts everywhere! And the cake? Huge! Absolutely huge! Plus, this incredible bouquet of roses… I’m seriously dying of cuteness overload. She deserves all the happiness in the world!

‘My heart is so full,’ she captioned the snap.  

Maura recently showcased a noticeably different look, which followed her admission on Instagram that she does use Botox. She had previously claimed she didn’t get the injections.

She took to her socials to do a Q&A this weekend where she opened up about her beauty regime.

One fan asked her: ‘Will you ever talk about skin treatments you have? You are glowing! Xx.’

She explained that when she initially developed perioral dermatitis, she stopped getting facials. Now, she focuses on a simple skincare routine and occasionally uses Botox, administered by Dr. Rosh, whom she highly recommends.

In the snap shared alongside she looked as radiant as ever as she showed off her smooth complexion. 

The woman, who used to work as a ring girl, discussed whether she’d had any cosmetic procedures after being on the ITV2 reality dating show in 2021.

She explained that she had lip fillers done about three months after leaving Love Island. Since lip fillers typically last five or six months, she decided not to get them touched up and simply let the original filler naturally fade away.

Despite this, people often think I’ve had cosmetic procedures like lip fillers or Botox. Some even guess I’ve had a nose job, but I haven’t had any work done at all.

I remember her telling me about this! She said she had braces for years, and afterwards, her teeth shifted a little, which actually made her lips look a bit fuller. It’s such a subtle thing, but she noticed it, and it’s interesting to hear how past experiences can affect your appearance even after all this time.

I don’t think lip fillers are right for me right now. With my straight teeth, it just wouldn’t look very good.

In a preview of the upcoming season of The Celebrity Traitors USA, Maura announced she plans to be very direct and assertive when the show begins in January.

Maura is competing on the second season of a popular show for a chance to win $250,000 for her favorite charity. If she wins, she’ll add another achievement to her impressive career.

The first glimpse of the former Love Island contestant shows her wearing a striking, tight-fitting green latex outfit. Her hair is neatly styled in a bun, and she gives the camera a sultry look.

In her first photos promoting the show, Maura appears subtly made up with classic cat-eye liner and silver earrings, giving off a suspicious vibe – though whether she’s a ‘traitor’ will remain a mystery until the series premieres on Peacock on January 8th.

In a video shared with her fans, she playfully warned anyone who might challenge her during a discussion: ‘If anyone tries to come at me, they’re going to have a tough time!’

Although the show features mostly American actors, it’s filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands – the very same location used for the British version of the series.

As a huge fan, I was surprised to learn that Claudia Winkleman isn’t involved with the American version of the show. Instead, the wonderful Alan Cumming is taking on hosting duties, which I’m really excited about!

Higgins will be part of the new season alongside several other recognizable people, including Donna Kelce, the mother of Jason and Travis Kelce, who is 74 years old.

The TV personality described the upcoming season of the show – which will also be available on BBC iPlayer – as completely chaotic, ahead of her appearance on it.

She described the new season as chaotic and intensely brutal, emphasizing the return of significant turmoil.

Around the middle of the show, there’s a scene that’s easily the most incredible moment in ‘Traitors’ history. I’m so excited for everyone to witness it – it’s complete chaos, absolutely wild, and just fantastic!
