Lauren Wood publicly criticized her ex and former Love Island co-star, Harrison Solomon, as rumors circulate that he’s joining the ‘Love Island: All Stars’ villa.
Harrison, 23, and Lauren, 26, first connected while filming a show last year. They became involved in a complicated romantic situation, and ultimately Harrison chose to leave the show to be with Lauren after she was rejected by someone else.
But they split just two months ago and the footballer is reportedly set to arrive as a bombshell.
Lauren recently posted a TikTok video seemingly referencing her ex-boyfriend. While relaxing on a sunbed in a purple bikini during her vacation, she shared a video with the caption, ‘POV: he turned off location sharing.’
She sang along to Sabrina Carpenter’s song ‘Goodbye,’ mouthing the words ‘boy bye, looks like you’re losing me for life’.
Lauren appeared to criticize her ex-partner by liking a comment from her former colleague, Megan Moore, on a video clip. Moore’s comment playfully referenced a significant distance between them.
She also reacted with a heart emoji to a fan comment that said, ‘That was really embarrassing for him.’
Daily Mail have contacted Harrison’s representatives for comment.
It comes as Lauren said she would be ‘gutted’ if her ex entered the villa in South Africa.
She told The Sun that she’d be really upset if he appeared on All Stars, now that he’s single. It’s always hard to watch someone you care about on a different show.
Ultimately, he’s free to live his life as he chooses. However, it would be upsetting to see someone they’re interested in on television with another person.
The influencer shared back in November that they and their partner had decided to separate amicably, with no hard feelings between them.
Lauren said: ‘Obviously he meant a lot to me and he still does mean a lot to me, he means a lot.’
Harrison has reportedly flown out to South Africa to make his bombshell All Stars return.
According to a source, he’s currently traveling and is expected to make a dramatic return to the villa within the next few days.
‘Fans might be divided by his return but there’s no question he makes good TV and girls LOVE him!’
Harrison publicly discussed their breakup for the first time last year, sharing that he still cares deeply for Lauren but they struggled to make time for their relationship.
He told the Daily Mail that life has been incredibly busy since leaving the show.
With work, travel, and life getting so busy, it became difficult to prioritize our relationship. Neither of us wanted things to drift apart, so we knew we needed to talk it through.
Okay, so it’s true… they confirmed it. They sat down and talked – a real conversation, they said – and decided to split up. Honestly, it’s heartbreaking, but they were so adamant that there’s no drama, no fighting. They really emphasized that! It’s like they want everyone to know they’re still okay, even though… well, even though it’s over. I’m trying to be happy they’re being so mature about it, but I’m still completely devastated.
Things cooled off a little between us after the show, which is a shame, but we remain friends. I still care about her a lot and I genuinely hope she does well in the future.
