Love Island's Jessy leaves Joey Essex speechless as she reveals she was taught hidden talent by German circus professionals

As a long-time viewer of Love Island, I’ve seen my fair share of contestants trying to make waves in the villa to secure their place in the public’s hearts. But Joey Essex and Sean Stone’s antics during Monday’s episode were something else entirely.

Love Island’s Jessy Potts left her partner Joey Essex speechless during Tuesday night’s episode.

I’m thrilled that Love Island is back on our screens once again! And you know what they say, every contestant has their unique talents to showcase. At 25 years old, I’ve got a surprise for you all – I can walk on stilts! It’s not an easy feat, but the challenge makes it all worth it. Can’t wait to see how this skill sets me apart in the villa!

Jessy made an astonishing entrance as she exited the villa, wearing fiery red shorts and a shimmering white crop top adorned with embellishments, completing her look with a feathery headpiece.

After finishing her act in the talent show, Jessy surprised Joey with a kiss on the lips, only then learning that she had been declared the winner.

A speechless Joey asked: ‘How did you learn to do that?’

Jessy replied: ‘I got trained, by German circus professionals.’

The long-awaited Love Island talent show returned at last during Tuesday night’s episode.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen my fair share of reality TV shows, and I have to admit that some performances during the latest competition left me feeling quite uncomfortable. The toe puppet show, for instance, felt forced and unnatural. And the sweet roast? Well, it was supposed to be endearing, but it came across as insincere and awkward. Overall, the show didn’t live up to my expectations and left me with a sense of unease rather than entertainment.

Specifically, some viewers criticized Joey Essex’s self-made rap performance, finding it uncomfortable and unconventional.

The TOWIE celebrity, aged 33, made an entrance with a gold necklace, retro sunglasses from the ’90s, and a backwards baseball cap as he took the stage to sing a tune he’d composed on his mobile phone.

In the rap, he acknowledged all his Islander colleagues and the alarm signaling the end of his performance rang out twice, yet he persisted.

When the horn blared for the third time, the inhabitants clapped in approval, yet Joey joked, “Hold on, hold on. When I say ‘secret’ – you say ‘assignment’. Secret…”

After that, an uncomfortable quietness filled the room as Joey questioned, “Has anyone got anything to add? Or perhaps we didn’t do so great just now?”

Viewers thought Joey would have been better off performing his 2011 dance track Reem.

One person wrote on social media platform X: ‘Joey are you not embarrassed’;

‘Joey was really struggling to catch the beat’; ‘This talent show is painful to watch’;

‘Just when I thought Joey couldn’t give me the ick more he raps’;

‘And the crowd went silent. Nah the second hand embarrassment. I’m dying’

I remember the excitement I felt earlier today when my phone buzzed with a text message. The words that danced across my screen brought a rush of adrenaline to my veins: “Islanders, it’s your time to shine at The Love Talent Show tonight! #ShowUpAndShine #PracticeMakesPerfect”

As the Islanders practiced for the evening, Joey exclaimed: ‘This is our time to shine!’

Nicole was up first up to the stage, as she treated her fellow Islanders to a sexy dance.

Following her lively act, she exclaimed: “I achieved my goal for the night when I saw Ciaran’s jaw drop in astonishment – mission accomplished!”

Next, it was Reuben’s turn. He chose to display both his whistling and vocal skills by performing an interpretation of “Singing in the Rain.”

To make her explain the performance, he invited Grace up on stage, affectionately referring to her as “my radiant lamp-bearer of a lady.”

One at a time, the Islanders went up on stage. Matilda presented a puppet show using her own feet, while Sean shared their heartfelt Love Island tale.

In a tranquil yoga session, Grace acted as both instructor and drummer, using the triangle as an accompaniment. She invited everyone present on the island to join her in assuming the downward-dog position.

Josh demonstrated his cooking abilities by conducting a “pancake and waffle workshop,” inviting Mimii to be the taster.

Ciaran displayed his impressive rugby abilities, while Jess gave a vibrant demonstration during her art workshop.

Sean then came out dressed as the candyman, giving the Islanders a pick n mix sweet roast.

At the performance, Ayo played the flute beautifully as he sang “Mary Had a Little Lamb.” In contrast, Mimii concluded the event with an impressive rendition of “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton.

After the Monday episode of Love Island, Joey Essex and Sean Stone’s behavior of deliberately provoking disagreements among the contestants infuriated many viewers.

The duo explored various corners of the villa and delved into the intricacies of their opponents’ relationships after the tumultuous awards ceremony.

They didn’t find Sean’s behavior convincing and believed he was trying unfairly to win over the TOWIE star, who is 33 years old, by acting out of character.

“Sean seems to be trying really hard to win over Joey Essex”: or “Sean appears to be seeking Joey’s favor and approval”.

“Just like his older brother Joey, Sean enjoys causing controversy and stirring up drama.”

‘Teacher and student. Joey and Sean talking about the assignment on how to stir the pot.’
