Following the news that Jess swore off talking to her ex, Hugo (age 24), she’s made good on that promise after photos emerged of him kissing another Islander at a gala ceremony.
Hugo and Jess appeared as a pair at the Love Island final in Mallorca on Monday night, suggesting they were quite attached.
On Wednesday evening during the National Reality TV Awards, photos published by The Sun showed Hugo seemingly kissing ex-Islander Charlotte Sumner, causing his gaze to stray.
It’s said that Jess was taken aback when she saw photos of Hugo and Charlotte kissing, leaving her feeling disrespectfully humiliated by his actions.
A source close to The Sun shared that there was a heated argument between Jess and Hugo, as she discovered his actions, leading to the disagreement.
In a phone conversation, she made it clear to Hugo that she has no further involvement with him and their previous relationship has concluded.
Jess is deeply hurt and mortified upon discovering the photos online. This incident has taken her by surprise and left her feeling distressed because their relationship had been progressing positively with Hugo.
On Saturday, Hugo made it clear on Instagram that he and Jess are no longer together, by posting a statement on his Stories. So far, Jess has not responded publicly about their breakup.
He wrote: ‘Just to let everyone know Jess and I agreed to go our separate ways after the final in Majorca.
“I’d really like us to remain friends since our shared moments were wonderful. She’s truly delightful, and I genuinely hope she thrives in every aspect of life.”

An onlooker told The Sun: ‘Hugo and Charlotte could not keep their hands off each other all night.
It was evident that their attention was solely focused on each other, disregarding any spectators, as they shared numerous kisses on the dance floor with enthusiasm.
In the bustling bar, they managed to find a secluded nook where they shared another fervent kiss, subtly hinting at the fact that Hugo and Jessica have parted ways. However, Jessica might still be taken aback to discover that Hugo has already found someone new so swiftly.
Hugo became one of the men who welcomed the women at the Casa Amor mansion during the mid-series twist where viewers’ favorites were introduced.

Instead of being left next to Blake and Emma, it seemed like they had separate on-screen interactions, but behind the scenes, they apparently shared some pleasant outings together in the UK, going on multiple dates.
Reflecting on their romance just last week, Jess said: ‘We’re still seeing each other.’
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Hugo added: ‘We’re just going at our own pace.’
Previously, dental assistant Charlotte made an appearance on the program, but her stay was short-lived because she wasn’t able to forge any meaningful relationships within the villa.
For five days, she appeared on the show following her decision to pair up with Zachariah Noble. However, she was eliminated by her fellow contestants as they voted her into the bottom three.
