Love Island’s Dami Hope CONFIRMS split from Indiyah Polack as he issues scathing one line statement over her ‘breach of trust’

Love Island star Dami Hope has confirmed his split from Indiyah Polack after three years together.

The Daily Mail reported on New Year’s Day that the couple, who first met on the ITV2 show in 2022, had broken up privately.

A representative for Dami, age 29, has explained the reason for her recent split, which happened just after Christmas.

Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack have broken up. They ended their relationship just after Christmas because of a loss of trust.

The breakup happened shortly before the new season of Love Island: All Stars begins. Indiyah will still be involved, hosting ‘The Morning After’ podcast with Amy Hart.

Sources say Dami won’t be making a surprise return to the Love Island villa. He’s still processing his recent breakup and isn’t emotionally prepared to start a new relationship right now.

According to a source, Dami is handling the situation privately and doesn’t intend to make a public statement on Instagram.

He’s been staying off social media while he processes his unexpected breakup with Indiyah. He’s still adjusting to what happened.

‘Entering the All Stars villa is not on the cards, it’s not his style.’

In the 2022 season, Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti won the competition, taking home the £50,000 prize. Indiyah and Dami came in second place, followed by Gemma Owen and Luca Bish.

After a dramatic argument in Casa Amor, the two contestants playfully started calling themselves ‘heartbreakers,’ famously declaring, ‘May the best heartbreaker win!’

Even though they explored connections with other people on the show, they eventually found their way back to each other and have both gone on to achieve success – Indiyah now regularly presents on Capital Xtra and recently hosted the MOBO Awards.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Indiyah and Dami have ended their three-year relationship.

I’m just completely heartbroken for them! They had everything – a life built together, years and years of memories… and to see it all fall apart so unexpectedly? It’s just… I honestly never thought they’d be one of those couples who split up. It’s devastating, truly.

Indiyah and Dami won’t be appearing on Love Island: All Stars. Indiyah is busy with her podcast, and Dami feels going on the show would be deeply disrespectful to their relationship.

Dami and Indiyah seemingly split after Dami posted a collection of 20 photos from 2025 on social media – and none of them included Indiyah.

He shared a post reflecting on the past year, describing it as a mix of happy memories, important achievements, difficult losses, and personal growth that’s hard to put into words. He celebrated reaching goals he’d long hoped for, but admitted he still sometimes wonders why he doesn’t feel completely satisfied.

‘Maybe it’s because every goal I reach becomes the starting point for something bigger.’

He acknowledged that things don’t always have neat conclusions, but they do reach a definitive end. He expressed his hope that 2026 will bring peace, positive change, forward momentum, and the freedom to make his own choices every day.

The couple was last spotted together at Indiyah’s birthday celebration in December. However, they didn’t post any pictures of themselves together during the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The Daily Mail has contacted the couple’s representatives for comment.

The next season of Love Island: All Stars starts January 12th. ITV shared a first look with a trailer on New Year’s Day.

Maya Jama, dressed in a leather coat and playfully holding a magnifying glass, addressed the audience: ‘Hey everyone, I know you’re all following every bit of gossip from the Love Island villa.’

Whether it’s dealing with heartbreak or shocking news, you’re great at figuring out who will support me.

‘We’ve got the clues and they’ve got the motives, so who’s got unfinished business?’

The cast for the new season of All Stars has been announced, bringing back familiar faces like Millie Court, Tommy Bradley, Jess Harding, and Whitney Adebayo.
