Love Island winner Sanam Harrinanan gives an insight into wedding dress shopping as she prepares to marry fiancé Kai Fagan

On Tuesday, the recently crowned Love Island champion, Sanam Harrinanan, offered a glimpse into the process of selecting a wedding dress, as she gears up for her upcoming nuptials with partner Kai Fagan.

At Lotte Rose Bridal, located in Bedford, 26-year-old Sanam showcased some of her preferred dresses in a recent Instagram post, revealing her favorites to her followers.

Initially, she put on a dress with sleeves that hung off the shoulders, then switched to an A-line dress featuring a corseted top.

She captioned the update: ‘Part two of trying to find a wedding dress.

In December, the pair disclosed that they hadn’t let fame pull them away from their regular careers; instead, they declined lucrative endorsement offers.

In an exclusive conversation with TopMob, Sanam and Kai shared the reasons behind going back to their roles as a social worker and physical education teacher respectively.

Sanam shared: ‘I went to uni for five years to do something I’m very, very passionate about.

I found it incongruous to relinquish the knowledge and enthusiasm I had cultivated. Moreover, recognizing the substantial impact on numerous young children’s lives as well as adopted parents brings an immense feeling of accomplishment.

As a devoted devotee, I can’t help but be enthralled by the wonders of my profession. Leaving it behind seemed unimaginable, given the relentless efforts I pour into it daily. Truthfully, I felt far from prepared to bid adieu to something that means so much to me.

Sanam stated: ‘It’s often thought that if someone appears on Love Island and then returns to work, they haven’t succeeded – but for us, it’s different because we value our careers and passions deeply. We believe in striking a balance between the two, embracing the best of both worlds.’

I’m deeply appreciative of the chances and adventures that Love Island has given us, yet I also cherish each morning when I wake up with the sense that I’m making a difference somehow.”

This version maintains the original meaning while using simpler language and more natural wording. It emphasizes the speaker’s gratitude for the opportunities provided by Love Island, as well as their personal fulfillment from feeling like they are having an impact in some way each day.

Working directly with children gives us a sense of contributing positively to our world, which is what truly matters to me.
