Love Island winner reveals they are expecting their first baby in sweet announcement

Finley Tapp, a popular figure from Love Island, announced that he and his girlfriend, Jess Hale, are anticipating their first baby together.

2020’s ITV dating show winner, posting on Instagram over the weekend, revealed exciting news through a collection of heartwarming photos.

In the initial photo, you’ll notice Jess donning a white blouse and black track pants while displaying a row of baby ultrasound pictures in her hand.

Another image showed the beaming couple smiling as they proudly displayed the scans together.

In the midst of my home renovation project, I paused to snap a shot and there it was – a wall adorned with the words ‘baby’, a subtle yet poignant reminder that a new life is on the way. This little detail hinted at the thoughtful preparations already underway for our growing family.

The final picture features three positive pregnancy tests laid out in a row.

Finley penned in the caption: ‘We can’t wait to meet you! Our hearts are so full.’

Their followers were quick to flood them with messages of love and congratulation.

The couple went public with their relationship last summer, sharing a sweet snap on Instagram.

However, Finn had kept Jess’s identity under wraps until June, when her name was subtly revealed. 

Fans spotted the clue after Finn shared a link to their joint home renovation Instagram account.

In the year 2020, it was Finley who gained widespread recognition when he appeared on Love Island. There, he developed a romantic relationship with Paige Turley, who was his girlfriend at the time.

In South Africa, they first encountered each other during the inaugural edition of the winter series. Subsequently, they triumphed in the competition and received a £50,000 monetary reward.

Due to the rapid spread of Covid-19, their departure from the villa led them directly into a locked-down lifestyle, residing in West Lothian where Paige hails from.

After that, they moved to Manchester and have been residing in the city ever since, living together in a luxurious apartment.

During their conversation with TopMob in 2023, Paige and Finn shared that the Covid-19 restrictions surprisingly strengthened their relationship.

‘Spending time together during the Covid period was beneficial for us, as we weren’t constantly running here and there.’

Finn mentioned, “The last three weeks before lockdown were absolutely chaotic, but the precious moments we managed to share were few and far between.

He went on to say: ‘It might be beneficial to ensure that outside circumstances don’t interfere with your precious moments spent with the person you’re with, so focus on creating a peaceful environment.’

After spending three years as a couple, they parted ways in 2023, with rumors suggesting that they acknowledged their relationship wasn’t intended to last an eternity.

According to a source, Paige and Finn enjoyed their relationship for quite some time, but ultimately concluded that it was not meant to be permanent as they are both quite young.
