Love Island USA star tears up as she claims her dad abused her as a child and ‘beat the s***’ out of her mom

During the aftermath of her departure from Love Island USA‘s seventh season, one of its rising sensations shared concerning revelations regarding her relationship with her father.

In the most recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Huda Mustafa claimed that her father physically mistreated her for a significant part of her upbringing.

Additionally, she described a frightening event where she claimed he brutally assaulted her mother, leaving her in tears as she implied more ominous encounters with her father that her family reportedly disregards.

She elaborated on a horrifying situation where she asserted he had violently attacked her mother, causing her to weep and allude to further distressing events involving her father, which her relatives seem unwilling to acknowledge.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Mustafa for comment but hasn’t yet heard back. 

In the wake of the thrilling conclusion of Love Island USA, where my fellow cast members Amaya and Bryan claimed the grand prize of $100,000, I find myself reflecting on my past, a journey that has been far from easy. As a 24-year-old reality star, I’ve learned to share my story in the hopes it can resonate with others who might be going through similar experiences. Despite finishing third alongside Chris Seele, this journey has been more about personal growth than competition for me.

To begin, Mustafa shared with Alex Cooper the story she claimed was about abuse, but first, she explained that both her parents had made the journey to the United States.

In simpler terms, they both became citizens, and her father operated his independent business, while her mother was employed as a school teacher.

Despite their successful careers, their family’s circumstances were not fortunate, as they were responsible for raising five children without the assistance of extended family in the country.

‘Growing up, my dad was extremely abusive,’ Mustafa alleged.

She asserted that everyone in their family was potentially at risk due to his actions, since he had mistreated her, her mother, and her brothers and sisters.

Mustafa shared that a particularly vivid memory from her childhood, in which she claimed to have heard her father violently attacking her mother in another part of the house, continues to haunt her.

She recalled, at last, someone managed to open the door. All I could see was my mother’s face, she went on to say, as she shared that her mother’s glasses had been shattered during the incident.

Mustafa went on, his voice trembling slightly, ‘That brings me right back to my own childhood,'” or “Mustafa added, his memories flooding back, ‘That’s like reliving my childhood.’

Was Alex wondering if the celebrity could keep up a connection with her dad despite the accusations, but Mustafa stated that they haven’t communicated for eight long years.

She didn’t communicate with him anymore when she turned 16, and there’s a solid explanation for her not being in contact with him now, though she spoke vaguely about it.

As a lifestyle expert, I often find myself reminiscing about the countless moments spent in solitude with my father. There have been instances where I’ve shared stories that my family finds hard to accept, leaving them somewhat skeptical, as I shared during our conversation today, causing a slight surprise from Cooper.

Despite starting to tear up, the Love Island celebrity maintained a bright smile, frequently dabbing at her eyes with tissues.

To this very moment, it seems no one in my family accepts the things I share regarding that experience with my father, as he was a mystery, she went on explaining.

Cooper asked why her family wouldn’t believe her, and Mustafa could only say, ‘I have no idea.’

She continued: ‘Maybe it’s hard to believe. But I just accepted that I know what was going on.’
