Love Island star’s partner is arrested on suspicion of stalking his ex over a three-year period

Reports say the boyfriend of a Love Island contestant has been arrested for allegedly stalking his former partner for three years.

Police also questioned the TV personality’s current boyfriend, age 34, about claims he was controlling and abusive towards her previous partner while they were dating the Love Island star.

According to The Sun, the TV personality who rose to prominence on an ITV show in the early 2020s is supporting him through this time.

He was arrested on December 16th, Tuesday, immediately after he and his partner returned from a trip.

It came nearly a month after the allegations were reported to police.

On December 16th, police arrested a 34-year-old man in south Oxfordshire. He’s suspected of stalking and controlling behavior.

Police have made an arrest as part of an investigation into reports received on Tuesday, November 18th. The alleged crimes took place between 2022 and 2025.

‘The man has since been released on bail. Enquiries remain ongoing.’

After speaking with trained officers, the person who made the complaint was offered counseling.

Daily Mail has contacted The Metropolitan Police for comment.

It comes as the brand new series of Love Island All Stars is set to launch on Monday.

The cast features two past champions, two celebrities with famous parents, and a contestant still dealing with a very public and messy breakup.

Millie Court, age 29, won the ITV2 show in 2021 with her then-boyfriend, Liam Reardon. She’s back now after the couple officially broke up in September, ending their complicated relationship.

She’s also celebrating with Jess Harding, age 25, who won the £50,000 prize last year. However, Jess’s relationship with her boyfriend, Sammy Root, ended after only two months after they left the show.

Whitney Adebayo, age 28, almost won the competition, finishing as a runner-up with Lochan Nowacki. However, to everyone’s surprise, the couple broke up in 2025 after two years together, and the split was reportedly contentious.

Ronan Keating, the singer from Boyzone, has a son named Jack who is going back to the reality show Love Island. He was on the show last year but didn’t find a partner, so he’s hoping to have better luck this time around.

Helena Ford, 29, is back after being eliminated from the show following a split with her ex, Harry Cooksley. She’s returning shortly after leaving the villa in Mallorca.

Following on from last summer’s series, Tommy Bradley, 22, is joining former co-star Helena.

Remember Charlie Frederick from Love Island back in 2018? He’s returning to the villa! He used to date another contestant, Lucie Donlan, so there’s already a connection there.

Belle Hassan, 27, is back, and she’s known for being one of the first contestants on Love Island with famous family ties.

Okay, so I’m obsessed with Jess Harding, and I literally can’t believe she’s going back to Love Island! She totally deserved to win with Sammy last year, they were amazing, but sadly it just didn’t last. I’m so excited to see if she finally finds ‘the one’ this time – I’m already rooting for her!

Sean Stone, a 26-year-old salesman, and Leanne Amaning are returning to the villa for another opportunity to find love.

Rounding out the team, Ciaran Davies, age 23, who was the second-place finisher in 2024 with his then-partner Nicole Samuels, will be paired with Shaq Muhammad, 27, for the upcoming season.
