Montel McKenzie, known from Love Island, has confirmed he’s in a relationship with Alisha Lehmann, who many consider to be the world’s most attractive soccer player.
Alisha, a Swiss soccer player, co-manages a six-a-side team with Maya Jama, the host of Love Island, for KSI’s Baller League, where Montel also participates.
Montel publicly revealed his relationship on Wednesday evening with a heartfelt birthday post for his girlfriend, sharing several photos.
Oh my gosh, you guys, I just saw the pictures and I’m dying! They were somewhere totally gorgeous and sunny, and they looked absolutely head-over-heels for each other! Seriously, they were practically glued together and shared the most amazing, passionate kiss! I can’t stop looking at them!
Montel wished his partner a happy birthday with some photos of them smiling at each other, sharing the caption ‘Happy Birthday baby’.
Montel, a semi-professional footballer and contestant on Love Island All Stars, has been dating Alisha since they connected while playing in Baller League. Alisha is a footballer herself, playing for both FC Como and the Swiss national team.
Someone close to the situation revealed to The Sun that the relationship wasn’t really hidden among those involved with the Baller League.
They connected immediately and have been dating ever since. Alisha has been secretly flying him to her apartment in Como for weekend getaways, and it seems Montel is thrilled with how things are going.
The source added their relationship began as a casual thing but became more serious.
Montel’s friends from Love Island immediately shared their congratulations, with Sammy Root simply writing, ‘Happy for you brother!’
‘YEAHHH,’ added Nas Majeed, while Tyrique Hyde added: ‘HARD LAUNCH.’
Alisha previously dated Brazilian footballer Douglas Luiz from 2021 until their split last year.
The former couple dated while both played for Aston Villa – she on the women’s team and he on the men’s team.
The couple split in 2022 but got back together in early 2024. Both have now agreed to join Juventus for the 2024-25 season.
Rumors of a split between the couple were widespread near the end of the recent campaign, and Italian media reported they had already been living apart for a while.
While celebrating Oktoberfest in Bavaria with her friends, Alisha revealed a small piece of personal news in a surprising way.
Alisha wore a traditional Bavarian dirndl, and tied the bow on the left side of her dress to signal that she was unmarried.
Wearing a bow tied on the right side signals that someone is in a relationship and not looking for romance. A bow tied in the center, however, suggests a desire for privacy and keeping personal life details to oneself.
Alisha happily posed for photos with her friends while celebrating the event, drinking a large beer and enjoying traditional Bavarian food.
Montel was last seen dating Kaz Crossley, another contestant from Love Island’s All Stars series, which aired in 2025.
Kaz confirmed they had split in June of last year as she appeared on Love Island Aftersun.
She told Maya when asked about Montel the pair were ‘very good friends.’
Gabby Allen playfully responded with ‘With benefits!’ after which Kaz joked, ‘A girl’s gotta have what she needs!’
