Love Island star Malin Andersson announces shock split from boyfriend just two months after going Instagram official as she admits she will 'never settle'

As I delve into Malin’s harrowing tale, it’s impossible not to be moved by her resilience and strength in the face of adversity. This woman, who has already faced more than her fair share of grief and heartache, narrowly escaped another brush with death when her luxury car caught fire moments after she exited it with her young daughter.

Malin Andersson recently disclosed that she’s parted ways with her partner, having only recently made their relationship status public on Instagram about two months ago.

Back in July, I, a fervent admirer, gleefully shared the heartwarming news that our beloved Love Island star, now 32, has rediscovered love with the dashing Swedish hunk, Jim Sundgren. After enduring the painful trials of heartbreak and abuse in her past relationships, it’s a joy to witness her finding happiness once more.

After a series of rumors that surfaced when they stopped following each other on Instagram last month, it’s been officially confirmed by Malin that they have parted ways.

On Thursdays, Malin shared on her Instagram Story: “Regarding questions about my relationship status, let it be known that I am currently single, as I made a promise to myself never to compromise.

As a lifestyle guide, I can confidently say that I’ve come to understand my worth and the kind of partner I desire. At 32, I see the path that others are rushing towards, but for me, it’s not about conforming to societal expectations. Instead, I choose to cherish my self-love by embracing solitude for now. Every inch of myself is precious, and I won’t settle until I find a partner who truly appreciates that.

Earlier, Malin shared that she found her latest partner on the internet following a phase of self-healing, and couldn’t help but express how unlike anyone else he seems to be for her.

Four weeks post the birth of their daughter Xaya in January 2022, her previous partner, Jared, decided to end their relationship.

During their relationship, Tom Kemp was abusive towards her, eventually leading to his imprisonment in 2020 due to assault charges against her.

Malina, a woman of both Swedish and Sri Lankan descent, shared that her latest partner is actually Swedish as well, and he’s quite different from the types of guys she usually goes for.

In an interview with New Magazine, I shared my feelings by saying, “Things are still in their infancy, but let me tell you, I’ve never encountered anyone quite like him. The depth of our connection is something I’ve never experienced before in my entire life, and just thinking about it stirs strong emotions within me.

After navigating through various toxic relationships, I’ve come to embrace the healing process and find solace in my own company. There was a moment when I thought, “Perhaps I am destined to always be alone, just me and Xaya, but I’m content with that.” Yet, surprisingly, my heart has expanded and is now overflowing with love and fulfillment.

In the past month, the actress has had a difficult time following a harrowing incident where she and her daughter barely survived when their £100,000 BMW automobile exploded on the highway.

Moments following their escape along the highway, her car suddenly caught fire, and the severity of the event became clear as gruesome photos emerged, depicting the wreckage of the burning vehicle.

Malin and her daughter seemingly managed to avoid harm, as the TV personality commented afterward that they were “mere seconds away from meeting their end.

On her Instagram stories, Malin shared an account of how, during a drive on a dual carriageway, smoke started emanating from her car as she had a two-year-old with her.

To play it safe, Malin detailed their swift departure from the vehicle, which exploded into flames and detonated soon after they had stepped out.

In her stories, she wrote: “This morning, while I was driving with Xaya, the car suddenly began emitting smoke unexpectedly.

I went outside with Xaya and we sprinted along the shoulder of the highway. A few minutes after that, it exploded and started burning.

She continued by expressing that she was taken aback and would be stepping back from social media for a while, with a friend handling all inquiries instead.

I expressed: “Taken aback, I’ve decided to step aside for now, while Erin will handle any emails or tasks related to work. Rest assured, Xaya and I are both secure.

After my harrowing experience, I can’t help but be astonished at how perilously close my life and my daughter’s came to an end. Now, I am compelled to seek ‘explanations’ or ‘clarification’ from the auto manufacturer about this near-fatal incident.

She shared with The Sun: “Generally, I remain untouched by events, yet I’ve faced sorrow and hardships before, which I’ve managed to navigate. However, nothing has ever endangered my life alongside my daughter as we did – we were mere seconds away from death.

It seems like someone close to me has always passed away, is that clear? Yet experiencing Xaya and myself in such a circumstance was on another level entirely. However, it’s hard for me to accept that they would let a vehicle like that on the road – a car worth over a hundred thousand pounds. I need some explanations.

Malin, who recently had her vehicle serviced just two months back, later remembered being notified about a potential issue when she received a ‘warning for engine failure.’

As she caught a whiff of smoke during her drive, the TV star’s innate responses were triggered, prompting her to swiftly halt her vehicle, place her daughter on the back seat, and quickly exit the area for safety.

In the course of publishing her account, she mentioned an incident where a former soldier named Pete noticed her while she was jogging. He swiftly intervened to assist, and together they quickly got the mother and daughter into his personal vehicle ensuring their security.

Malin told how she was left ‘gobsmacked’ as she looked back on her car and saw it up in flames.

She mentioned how her daughter responded by saying, “She didn’t grasp the situation, and she began to cry, followed by screaming. Then I cried and shook, and all she kept saying was, ‘Mummy, breathe, Mummy, breathe in.’

Angered by the incident, Malin decided to go to the BMW workshop that very night to seek explanations. It appears they are currently investigating the situation.

TopMob contacted representatives of Malin for comment.

Simultaneously, a representative from MBW communicated with TopMob stating, “We comprehend that this situation was undoubtedly upsetting for the affected customer, and BMW treats any incident concerning our vehicles with utmost importance.

‘Although vehicle fires are rare, they can stem from a multitude of causes, including external factors. It is crucial to thoroughly investigate the individual case to determine the root cause accurately.

Whenever an incident occurs with a BMW UK vehicle, our technical team is ready to assist insurance companies in identifying the source of the problem. Until the cause is known, we are unable to provide additional comments.
