Love Island‘s Grant Crapp announced that he proposed to his girlfriend, Lucy Cartwright.
Grant, age 30, shared the exciting news with his Instagram followers on Tuesday. He posted a series of adorable photos, including a close-up of Lucy’s beautiful diamond engagement ring.
A photo captured the couple with their three young children – four-year-old Charli, two-year-old Levi, and one-year-old Oliver – on a beach.
Grant, Levi and Charli were proudly holding up a sign that read ‘Will you marry me?’
Another photo captured the heartwarming moment the Love Island 2018 champion proposed to his partner while surrounded by their children.
The third picture highlighted Lucy’s beautiful engagement ring: a single pear-shaped diamond on a simple gold band.
Grant labeled the photos with just the date, ‘March 23, 2026,’ and added a heart emoji.
The post received a lot of congratulatory messages from friends and followers, including former Married at First Sight contestant Nasser Sultan.
‘About time! Because I was going to ask her,’ he joked.
Another summed up the sentiment of many with: ‘Woo hoo! Almost gave me a heart attack!
‘You know I’m not supposed to get excited?? Congratulations to all of you.’
The joyous news comes after Grant and Lucy welcomed their third child in April last year.
The former reality TV star posted an adorable photo online of their newborn baby being cuddled by their older siblings, four-year-old Charli and two-year-old Levi.
‘Oliver Benjamin Crapp. Welcome to the family,’ he wrote.
Many of Grant’s celebrity friends took to the comments section with their well-wishes.
‘Party of 5!!’ wrote I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! co-host Julia Morris.
‘What a beautiful family,’ added Olympic swimmer Emily Seebohm.
In 2018, Grant and his Love Island Australia partner, Tayla Damir, caused a lot of excitement when they won the first season of the show.
Although he left the reality show with Tayla, it soon came out that he was already secretly dating someone else back home in Canberra.
Grant and Tayla broke up, and shortly after, Grant rekindled his relationship with Lucy.
Even with the past issues, they’ve built a strong life together, buying two houses and raising three children.
In 2019, Grant bought their first home together in Malua Bay, New South Wales.
After buying a three-bedroom cabin for $380,000, the electrician has been working on renovations ever since.
Since becoming a homeowner, Grant has completely renovated the property, which is a two-hour drive from his previous home in Canberra.
