Love Island Joey Essex attempts to clear the air with Josh after heated row following brutal talent show jibe
As a long-time fan of Love Island, I have seen my fair share of drama and controversy within the villa. However, nothing quite prepared me for the explosive behavior displayed by Nicole Samuel towards Ciaran Davies during Movie Night.
During the Thursday night episode of Love Island, Joey Essex from Love Island tries to settle things with Josh Oyinsan by having an open conversation.
The day before, Joey’s rap performance at the talent show sparked an intense argument between the two of them. He revealed the confidential “terrace situation” during the performance.
In upcoming episodes, Joey goes outside into the garden with Josh. He expresses his desire to clear the air between them, speaking honestly and man to man. “Josh,” he says, “I value you as a person, and despite our past disagreements, I want to tell you that everything is over now.”

Viewers of ITV2 are left in suspense as to whether Josh will forgive Joey for his strange remark in the previous episode on Wednesday.
Previously on TOWIE, the 33-year-old ex-star questioned 29-year-old Josh about being upset by his cringeworthy talent show rhyme, which referenced the past “terrace gate” controversy.
As the rap continued, he acknowledged all his Islander friends. When the signal sounded for the third time signaling the end of his performance, there were applause from the audience. But Joey added humorously, “Hold on, hold on, hold on. When I say ‘secret,’ you say ‘mission.’ Secret…”
After that, an uncomfortable quietness filled the room as Joey questioned, “Has anyone got anything to add? Or did that not go so well?”
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing in the most recent installment. Joey and Josh were going at it, their voices rising in anger. “Seriously,” Josh defended himself, “is my rap really that offensive to you?”
An unimpressed Josh responded: ‘Don’t patronise me’
I’m a devoted fan of Joey, but lately his actions have left me underwhelmed. One supporter expressed their disappointment in this way: “Wow, Joey, you really need to filter what comes out of your mouth. You take offense so easily.”

About halfway through the week, Mimii Ngulube, age 24, asked Joey to discreetly bring Ayo Odukoya to the terrace for a private conversation with her.
With great care, she moved on all fours over the terrace, maintaining a concealed posture among the other island residents, until he arrived to meet her.
When Joey attempted to summon Ayo, 25, for a conversation to let him know that Mimii was ready for him on the terrace, Ayo declined and left, resulting in Mimii being labeled as having “failed dramatically.”
During the course of the week, Joey added more excitement by revealing to the other Islanders, during a game called “Couple Goals,” that he had participated in a clandestine activity.
Later, he hinted at the relationship between Josh and Mimii implying there was more to it. However, he remained silent about the details as it was a private matter.
If Ayo hadn’t appeared on the terrace, Mimii became the likely candidate for “Epic Fail,” as evidence included her sitting on the floor and Ayo refusing Joey’s invitation.
After seeing Mimii collapse in the villa, the ex-TOWIE celebrity expressed, “It seemed a little provocative to me.”
I’ve found myself adding my voice to the chorus of disapproval, joining the long list of fans who have expressed their concern to Ofcom about Sean and Joey Essex’s actions on Love Island. The way they conducted themselves in the villa left many of us outraged.
On last Sunday’s show, 253 viewers made complaints to the media watchdog over Joey and Sean Stone’s behavior towards other contestants during the Grafties Awards broadcast.
According to Ofcom, the grievances stemmed from how the duo interacted with certain contestants on the show.
As an obsessed fan, I can’t help but add my voice to the chorus criticizing that controversial pair. Time and again, they’ve interfered in the relationships of their rivals, stirring up drama and controversy. It’s exhausting and unfair! Other fans feel the same way, expressing their frustration and disappointment with each new instance of their meddling behavior.
During his time on the ITV dating program, Joey’s actions in his friendships and romantic connections have sparked controversy, leading some to label him as a skilled manipulator.
Joey faced criticism after he exposed Mimii’s clandestine task, mingled with his past flame Grace Jackson at a awards ceremony, and neglected Jessy Potts.
Simultaneously, some skeptical spectators suggested that Sean, aged 24, was trying to win over TOWIE star Amy, 33, through unusual behavior.

In my experience as a lifestyle expert, during that particular segment, I found myself getting quite worked up alongside Nicole. As footage of Ciaran’s past actions in Casa Amor were shown to the entire villa, I couldn’t help but feel the tension in the air and join in on her vocal expressions of frustration.
They looked at each other with doubt, unamused by the way Nicole described Ciaran as immature.
