Love Island Grace and Reuben bid an emotional farewell to their fellow Islanders after being dumped from the villa in shock twist
As someone who has closely followed the Love Island journey this season, I must admit that I have been deeply moved by the story of Ekin-Su and Davide. Their connection seems to be built on a strong foundation of mutual respect, understanding, and genuine care for each other.
Grace Jackson and Reuben Collins said heartfelt goodbyes to the Love Island community as they were unexpectedly eliminated on Wednesday evening.
On Wednesdays surprise eviction, the least favored couple by the audience was unexpectedly eliminated from the villa only a few days prior to the finale.
In a sneak peek of Thursday’s episode, Grace, 25, and Reuben, 23, were notified via text message that their Love Island adventure was over.
In a heartfelt moment among many of the villa’s women, teary-eyed Grace expresses, “I’ll deeply miss each and every one of you.”
Reuben chuckled as they were getting ready: “It’s high time for us to set off, like in a sunset-riding scene, my dear.”
Before leaving the Villa, Joey made a beeline for Grace, his past flame who was both an interior and exterior acquaintance, to bid farewell.
Grace expressed her delight as she walked outside the Villa with Reuben, saying, “Being with Reuben enhances this moment for me immensely.”
Reuben concurred: “It’s unfortunate to bid farewell to everyone, but look who I’m leaving with – I’m coming out on top either way.”
On Wednesdays game of Couples Sort, Grace and Reuben were considered the least compatible couple by the audience and consequently eliminated.

The contestants held a debate and subsequently stood on the podium, designating Grace and Reuben as their top picks – an opinion shared by many viewers who felt the duo had the least chance of enduring in reality.
In second place were Jessy and Joey, while Jess and Ayo were in third.
Grace made a quick remark, saying, “I have a different opinion, and I’m eager to show you all that I’m right,” just as an unforeseen message sounded in the villa.
Josh then read out the message which revealed Grace and Reuben had been dumped from the island.
Fans were disappointed to see Grace and Reuben leave Love Island, as one fan expressed on X: “Love Island unfairly eliminated Grace and Reuben, while Sean and Joey remain.”;
“Wow, what a surprise! Grace and Reuben have been eliminated from the island. I didn’t see that coming.”

After bidding farewell to the Villa, I can’t contain my excitement. It wasn’t an easy journey, filled with ups and downs, but looking back, I’m proud of how I kept my composure and dealt with each situation as gracefully as I could. The experience has been nothing short of incredible, and every moment of it, I cherished deeply.
Leaving with Reuben and what I came here for, reaching the final week among all the Islanders is an incredible achievement.
Based on my personal experiences and outlook on life, I believe that it’s important to live in the moment and take each day as it comes. However, I also value the importance of making plans and looking forward to future visits from loved ones. In this particular situation, while we’ll be living day by day, I am planning to travel down to Surrey at some point, and he is intending to come see me in Manchester.
We’re looking forward to having a date night soon and introducing each other to our families. Our relationship is going great, and we enjoy spending time together, so I’m eager to continue this journey with you.
Reuben commented, “I believed people might hold this view due to us being a new pairing and the physical distance between us. However, from my perspective, we spent all our time together in that enclosed space.”
In a fast-paced world where things move quickly, I believe it’s a testament to our strong bond that we’ve managed to accomplish this at our own steady speed.
In my opinion, that approach is likely to last the longest since we’ve established strong bases for our connection.

During his experience on the ITV dating program, Joey’s actions towards friendships and romantic connections have sparked controversy, leaving some people labeling him as a “clever manipulator.”
Joey faced criticism after he exposed Mimii’s hidden assignment, went public with his past relationship with Grace Jackson, and neglected Jessy Potts.
