Love Island viewers expressed their disappointment and frustration after Joey Essex made an odd remark to Josh Oyinsan in the latest episode on Wednesday night.
Previously on TOWIE, the 33-year-old ex-star inquired from Josh, 29 years old, if he took offense to the uncouth rapping performance at the talent show, which mentioned the past “terrace situation” between them confidentially.
As the rap flowed with shouts out to every Islander, and the klaxon blared once more, signaling my exit from the stage for a third time, everyone clapped along in unison. But I wasn’t quite ready to leave just yet. “Wait, wait, wait,” I quipped, adding, “When I say secret, you say mission.”
After that, an uncomfortable quietness filled the room as Joey inquired, “Has anyone got anything to add? Or, it seems, that didn’t go so smoothly.”
In the most recent installment, Joey and Josh had a fiery argument about the incident, with Josh inquiring: “Really, you’re upset by my rap?”

When Joey called over Ayo, aged 25, for a conversation to let him know that Mimii was waiting for him on the terrace, Ayo responded by walking away and refusing. Unfortunately, this rejection resulted in Mimii being labeled as having “failed ultimately.”
During the course of the week, Joey increased the intensity of the situation among the Islanders. He revealed to them during a game called “Couple Goals” that he had participated in a clandestine undertaking.
I once hinted at Josh, whom Mimi is romantically involved with, that there might be more to their relationship than met the eye. However, I didn’t share the details as it was something I chose to keep private.
If Ayo hadn’t appeared on the terrace, Mimii became a strong contender for the “Epic Fail” title. Footage depicted Mimii seated on the floor while Ayo declined an invitation from Joey.

Love Island faces another wave of complaints from Ofcom after fans expressed their anger over the actions of Sean and Joey Essex inside the villa, leading to numerous protests.
On last Sunday’s show, there were 253 complaints filed with the regulatory body regarding how Joey and Sean Stone interacted with other contestants during the Grafties Awards broadcast.
According to Ofcom, the grievances stemmed from how the duo interacted with certain contestants on the show.

Recently, there was a significant increase in complaints from angry Love Island viewers to Ofcom regarding the heated Movie Night episode that took place earlier this month.
Certain viewers found the intense scenes so disturbing that they filed formal complaints with the media regulatory body.
Based on The Sun’s report, there were a total of 55 complaints filed, and Ofcom acknowledged that several of these complaints revolved around Nicole Samuel’s behavior towards Ciaran Davies.
In the episode, Nicole loudly protested as footage of Ciaran’s past actions in Casa Amor were shown to the entire villa community.
They looked at each other with doubt, unimpressed by how Nicole described Ciaran as immature.
He responded by pointing out my deepest vulnerability, something I had shared with you. You were seen as belittling or mocking this sensitivity.
‘It’s one thing for me, one thing for you,’ he said.
Growing more agitated, Nicole asked: “Were there any footage of me interacting with boys or expressing interest in them, or having conversations with them?”
‘What? Because I kissed Emma in a game?’ Ciaran asked.
Some fans expressed their anger on X following the heated argument between Ciaran and Nicole, urging Ciaran to end things with her.
