Love Island couple in ‘shock SPLIT… and star has already moved on with Strictly dancer’s ex’

As a lifestyle expert with a background in relationships and mental health, I cannot help but feel a pang of sadness upon reading about the recent split of Love Island stars Trey Norman and Ellie Jackson, followed by Trey’s swift move on to Abbie Quinnen, the ex-girlfriend of professional dancer AJ Pritchard.

Love Island pair Trey Norman and Ellie Jackson have gone their separate ways. Not long after, Norman was seen on a date with the past beau of a previous Strictly Come Dancing contestant.

The Islanders, who got acquainted at Casa Amor, were unexpectedly eliminated from ITV’s show earlier this month due to receiving the least number of viewer votes.

After they parted ways, Ellie, who is 24 years old, spoke about our connection: From the very beginning, there was an instant spark between us – a strong chemistry and attraction. I admire how much we both have in common in terms of living corporate lives.

He added: “We had a strong connection, fueled by mutual attraction. No formal plans for dates just yet, but I’m confident we’ll communicate and make arrangements soon.”

A source close to the situation shared with the press: “Trey and Abbie have been constantly texting each other. While Trey was in London recently, he asked Abbie out on their initial date.”

They added: ‘It’s early days but there’s a definite spark.’

In 2022, after being together for four years, dancer AJ (age 29) and Abbie went their separate ways. Since then, Abbie has been on her own. On the other hand, AJ is currently in a relationship with model Zara Zoffany.

The split came after she allegedly caught AJ messaging another women in October 2022. 

I, as a devoted fan of dancer and influencer Abbie, can tell you that she described her world as usual until September, when AJ embarked on a month-long journey to South America to shoot The Challenge.

During the initial stage of their journey, they appeared to get along well, engaging in regular video calls. However, things took a turn when he was required to surrender his phone for filming purposes.

After getting his phone back, Abbie appeared preoccupied and changed.

After watching Ferne McCann’s engagement on her TV show, AJ and his partner subsequently talked about their plans when they got back home.

Abbie observed that he frequently used his phone to communicate with someone from the show, raising her suspicion. When she inquired about it, however, he became distant and unresponsive towards her.

At the time, she told The Sun: ‘I’m completely devastated and my world has fallen apart.

I had believed AJ to be a certain kind of person, but my experiences with him have proven that to be untrue. I had assumed our connection would last a lifetime.

“He terminated our relationship without showing any emotions, explaining that his feelings for me had faded and he wanted to move on.”

After reports surfaced that Abbie was going to join “Love Island” as a second famous surprise guest, following in the footsteps of Joey Essex (aged 33).

I’ve heard through The Sun that I was allegedly set to travel to Mallorca. They mentioned that for weeks, there had been discussions between me and the producers regarding this decision, and I’m eagerly anticipating the opportunity to join the villa and add some excitement.

After our amicable parting ways with AJ, I, Abbie, felt ready to explore new romantic opportunities. Enter Joey, who made a big entrance and piqued my interest. I’m keeping an open mind and eagerly awaiting any potential developments in this new chapter of love.

A year after Abbie experienced severe burn injuries from a mishap during a popular social media trend, her relationship with AJ came to an end.

While filming a YouTube video with her boyfriend AJ, she unfortunately experienced an unexpected fire incident when trying to transform a wine bottle into a vase.

After her injuries, Abbie and AJ underwent therapy sessions as required. Once, Abbie discovered AJ in tears, deeply distressed over the aftermath.

In 2021, a dance performance by the skilled dancer on YouTube took an unfortunate turn, resulting in her requiring three skin grafts due to severe burns on her scalp, face, and body.

In an interview on Lorraine in 2022, she shared: “It exploded unexpectedly, leaving me enveloped in flames. The uncertainty of regaining my appearance and mobility was overwhelming.”

In the care of the burn unit, I received exceptional attention. My appearance filled me with dread, fearing the reaction of AJ or my loved ones upon seeing me might cause them great distress. I was deeply ashamed of my appearance, and the experience carried a heavy emotional toll.

In spite of going through a harrowing ordeal, Abbie shared that she no longer required additional operations and was “feeling significantly improved” as her self-assurance returned.
