Okay, so big news – I’m hearing that Sophie Monk has parted ways with her manager of many years, Sean Anderson. This is a really significant move for her, signaling a fresh start and a new chapter in her career. It’s always interesting when someone like Sophie decides to take control and steer things in a new direction – I’m excited to see what she does next!
Sophie Monk, the host of Love Island Australia, is no longer a client of Anderson’s 22 Management, a leading talent agency in Australia.
The breakup became clear when Monk deleted all posts related to 22 Management from her Instagram, and both she and Anderson stopped following each other on social media.
I’ve always been so impressed with Anderson’s work! He really knows how to build a lasting brand – he famously managed Jennifer Hawkins when she was Miss Universe and helped her become a household name. It’s amazing to see how he guided her career after her reign.
He works with many well-known Australians, such as Tammy Hembrow, Ruby Tuesday Matthews, Lindy Klim, Kerri-Anne Kennerley, David Koch, and Jodi Gordon.
Oh my gosh, can you believe it’s been six years since Sophie signed with Anderson? It’s amazing! Before that, though, she was with Titus Day – Anderson’s old student, you know? I remember when she made the switch, everyone was talking about it!
Although the reason for their separation remains private, she has already let her sponsors know, suggesting a fresh start for the well-known Australian television star.
Okay, so last June, Josh, Sophie’s husband, finally talked about what it’s really like being married to her! It’s crazy because everyone knows her face, and he was sharing what it’s like to live with someone so famous. I was totally glued to everything he said – it’s fascinating to get a peek behind the scenes, you know? It just makes me love Sophie even more, honestly, seeing how down-to-earth they are despite everything!
The tech entrepreneur, born in America and married to the host of Love Island in 2022, told the Daily Mail that he’s enjoying a quieter life. He’s traded business meetings for photoshoots and his work with robots for glamorous events.
Josh shared how quickly his life changed, saying, “It feels amazing! Just a short while ago I was working from home, and now I’m filming a movie on the Gold Coast or working on Love Island in Spain.”
‘Life with Soph is never dull… I wouldn’t change a thing.’
You know, it’s funny how life works. I met my partner, Sophie, back in 2018 on a really long flight – we were coming from Europe to Australia. Honestly, I never expected any of this attention! It wasn’t something I ever planned for, this whole ‘fame by association’ thing just kind of happened.
I prefer to stay out of the public eye. I actually love being behind the camera – it suits me to support things from the sidelines and capture special moments, rather than being the center of attention, he explained.
Josh generally avoids attention, but he’s become well-known for appearing alongside his famous wife – and for taking pictures of her at events and on social media.
He joked that if the picture didn’t turn out well, it wasn’t Sophie’s fault, since she was naturally beautiful and always looked good in photos.
She always knows exactly how to pose to look her best, and I always think through the perfect shot before taking a picture. Good lighting, especially during golden hour, makes all the difference.
He also revealed a little-known fact about his reality TV star wife.
Josh described Soph as genuine and surprisingly funny, saying, ‘She’s my best friend, and we have a lot of fun together.’
Josh shared that despite the attention that comes with dating someone famous, the public has always been kind to Sophie, and that kindness has extended to him as well.
Sophie and Josh wed in a private ceremony at their Central Coast, NSW home in 2022.
They first met on a flight between Europe and Australia in August 2018, and after having a few glasses of champagne in business class, they shared a kiss.
