Love Island All Stars is facing major turmoil, with some new contestants reportedly leaving the show or refusing to even go into the villa due to heated arguments and conflict.
Several of the single contestants who were waiting to enter the show have reportedly decided to withdraw, worried about the intense drama now unfolding in the villa, leaving ITV executives in a difficult situation.
The popular dating show became increasingly heated due to a growing and intense conflict between Belle Hassan and Lucinda Stafford, which led to a dramatic confrontation.
It will be very difficult for them to form a meaningful connection this late in the competition, and with all the drama between Belle and Lucinda, they probably won’t get much attention.
‘The bombshells who have been on standby to go in are starting to pull out.’
They also told The Sun that one potential contestant was asked to travel to South Africa to join the villa, but declined due to concerns about the show’s drama.
Daily Mail has contacted ITV’s representatives for a comment.
On Wednesday’s episode, Lucinda and Belle had a heated argument after Lucinda confronted Belle about how she’d been acting with Scott van-der-Sluis.
Trouble began when Lucinda started dating Sean Stone, upsetting Belle, who confronted her about it. The situation then flipped when Belle showed interest in Scott, even though he was already in a relationship with Leanne Amaning.
While Scott was getting close to Leanne, Belle unexpectedly pulled him aside for a conversation in the Secret Garden, which led Lucinda to confront Belle about it.
This caused a major argument between five of the Islanders last night, during which Belle angrily told Lucinda to stay out of her affairs.
Everything came to a head when Belle left the villa in anger, collapsed on the floor, and then broke down crying to Whitney Adebayo and Samie Elishi.
The recent events in the show have caused viewers to file several complaints with Ofcom, and the issues are happening throughout multiple episodes.
Jessy received a text message informing the Islanders that it was time for another recoupling ceremony, with the girls choosing their partners first.
New arrivals Jessy and Harrison got the first pick of potential partners, and Tommy Bradley told Harrison he excels in these kinds of competitive situations, clearly enjoying the challenge.
Jessy and Harrison’s speeches came as a surprise to the other Islanders, leaving everyone wondering about the status of their current relationships.
Later, while speaking by the fire pit, Lucinda seemed to target Belle again, suggesting that some people had formed insincere connections and that she’d witnessed unfair double standards.
Belle soon hits back: ‘Why is this f*****g speech about me?’
The two women kept arguing, but they didn’t reach any agreement. Finally, Belle told the other woman she didn’t want to talk anymore, stating her personal problems were private and not her concern.
Lucinda told Millie Court, a previous winner of the show, that she wished she’d had a chance to explain herself to Belle at the fire pit, hoping Belle would understand her background and where she’s coming from.
Millie said she didn’t think they’d ever reach an agreement, and continuing the discussion would just be a waste of time. She advised them to just stop arguing.
Jessy responded to Lucinda’s comments made during the recoupling, saying she didn’t quite understand what Lucinda meant.
‘What was going on with your mindset?’ Jessy asked, to which Lucinda responded: ‘I got scrutinised.
I honestly never expected Belle to do that, especially considering it’s Leanne… It’s frustrating because when I do the same thing, I get yelled at.
Jessy pointed out to her that she often tries to provoke reactions, but added that she believes she’s intelligent and people don’t realize her potential.
Oh my god, when Lucinda said ‘I’m not here to explain myself!’ it was EVERYTHING. Seriously, it just exploded into this massive fight – the girls were going at each other, and everyone else just stood there with their mouths open, totally stunned. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, it was insane!
Jessy later explained to Sean that she knew he would always support Lucinda, but this wasn’t something they needed to discuss between themselves.
He defended Lucinda, saying it wasn’t appropriate for the other person to speak to her in the first place, and he admitted he didn’t understand the purpose of the conversation.
