Love Island All Stars Host Amy Hart Forced to Step Back After Shocking Three-Week Illness
Love Island: All Stars podcast is temporarily without its host, Amy Hart, as she’s had to step back due to a three-week illness, which she has disclosed.
In the fifth season of Love Island, a well-known reality TV personality, aged 31, formed a famous partnership with Curtis Pritchard, who had previously appeared on the All Stars edition of the show.
Since then, she has assumed the role of co-host for The Morning After podcast, working with former Love Island participant Indiya Pollack.
This week, Amy announced her decision to take a break from the episodes due to illness, but expressed optimism about a quick comeback.
On her Instagram Story, Amy posted: “Won’t be doing a podcast tonight after three weeks of trying to push through, thinking I’d eventually recover since I can’t always be sick. I’ve come to understand that I won’t improve unless I rest.
On Monday, I enjoyed a brief respite from work that made me feel somewhat improved, but en route home, I started noticing a slight discomfort in my throat.
Currently, I’m experiencing swollen lymph nodes, an aching ear, and fluctuating body temperature. At times, I feel extremely hot, sweating profusely, while at other moments, I get chilly to the point where layers of thermal clothing, a thick sweater, a large comforter, and a blanket don’t seem to help.
‘I’m hoping if I can sleep for a 12 hours tonight, I’ll be back tomorrow,’ Amy added.
Four days past, Amy discussed her health issues while posting a series of photos from her podcast.
I mostly worked at my desk in January, going over various matters with the AllStars team. I want to apologize and thank you for bearing with me while I struggled to breathe for the past two weeks.
Today, my grandmother told me, “I saw it a few days ago, and I want to be clear, Amy, you didn’t seem well at all.” Thank you, dear!
‘Great news is I can breathe again today so hopefully a better watch and listen from tomorrow!!’
After her former partner Curtis, now in a relationship with Cülcüloğlu on Love Island: All Stars, announced that he was looking forward to reconnecting with her upon leaving the villa before his departure.
As a lifestyle advisor, I find myself reminiscing about an intriguing chapter of my life. You may recall that I was once in a committed relationship with Sam Rason, whom I’m fortunate to now call my husband and share parenthood with. Our journey together took an unexpected turn when the public eye witnessed our break-up during season five, back in 2019. That chapter of my life, while challenging at times, has led me to where I am today – a testament to the resilience of the human spirit and the power of love’s healing touch.
The split between them occurred following Curtis’ confession that model Jourdan Riane had captivated him during their time in Casa Amour. This led Amy to wonder if his feelings for her were genuine.
Six years later, Curtis, now 28, looked back at the challenging period in his and Maura’s relationship, revealing that there were aspects of the Casa Amor incident that viewers may not have fully understood.
Before entering the South African Love Island villa, Curtis shared his thoughts on possibly reconnecting with Amy, who is a co-host of the Love Island: The Morning After podcast that frequently interviews departed islanders. In simpler terms, he discussed the possibility of meeting Amy again since they both work for the same podcast show.
Speaking highly of Amy, he exclaimed: “Amy is fantastic! I adore her! She’s really excelling in everything she does. From her podcast to various projects, she’s simply outstanding. Now that she’s a mom, she’s handling it all with grace – truly remarkable!
Did you know? That gathering sounds fantastic, and I think we might even dine out together afterwards. To tell the truth, I’m quite looking forward to it.
When questioned about his handling of Amy during their public split, the dancer justified his actions by stating that he hadn’t had an adequate opportunity to express his feelings towards her at the time.
Curtis had Amy taken aback when she found out that before choosing to recouple with her, he had expressed interest in getting to know Jourdan from Casa Amor instead.
A devastated Amy then informed him that she had been gearing up to confess her love to him.
In conversation about the drama, Curtis pointed out: “I believe the Amy scenario might be overlooked due to the ‘Casa Amor’ twist, where you can’t communicate with the other half. This subtlety alters the realness of the situation to some extent.
The primary reason for me, during the Casa Amor incident, was to communicate with Amy about my feelings.
In that situation, it’s not possible for you to perform the action, which means there isn’t much new information or opportunities for change that I can gather from it.
As a devoted admirer, I must admit that I often find myself in tricky situations, but rest assured, I make it a point to maintain utmost respect, touching wood for good measure. After all, I strive to conduct myself with the highest regard always.
