Love Is Blind’s Amber and Matt Barnett are expecting their first child together: ‘He just went and knocked me up’

On Tuesday, the pair who found each other and tied the knot during the initial season of the Netflix show, announced their joyous news as they featured on the debut episode of Lauren and Cameron Hamilton’s The Love Seat podcast.
Speaking with her fellow actors, Amber, aged 32, shared some recent updates about her personal life. She revealed that she’s expecting a child, and afterwards, she uploaded a picture on Instagram showcasing her expanding belly.
Amber stated that she returned to school because it seemed like the right moment, as she had the necessary support and mental readiness. She added this comment a year after criticizing the Netflix series.
She playfully commented, “During the summer vacation, he unexpectedly became a father to me,” as she gestured towards Matt, who was 34 years old.
Lauren cheered on the couple: ‘There’s a baby Barnett on the way!’
Amber then stated that she might have already been pregnant during Cameron’s birthday party.
‘It might have been during Cam’s birthday party — it might have already been.’
At the party, I was tending bar. It’s clear we were all having a great time and getting quite lively. She mentioned that even tiny Baby B might join in our festivities, ready to dance or celebrate along with us.
‘That was very unexpected,’ she added.
Lauren enthusiastically announced, “I’m overjoyed to congratulate you all!”, as Cameron expressed his readiness for the role of being an uncle.
They too posted a heartwarming video compilation on Instagram, featuring adorable moments of them over the years, concluding with an image of them from their podcast, where Amber proudly displayed her expanding belly.
