Love Is Blind UK couple Jasmine and Bobby hint they’re already expecting their first baby a year after getting married on the Netflix show

As an over-the-moon admirer, I got hitched with my beloved in September, having crossed paths on that captivating Netflix series. We’re gazing into the future, and hinting to TopMob, next year might just be the moment we embark on parenthood together!
In a private conversation, Bobby, aged 34, who specializes in luxury shopping, openly shared that he and his partner, Jasmine, aged 30, a mental health care provider, are eager to progress to the next stage in their relationship.
He mentioned that, as of now, we can’t guarantee anything, but hopefully, by the end of next year, you’ll undoubtedly receive some positive updates.
Jasmine and Bobby made a commitment to one another following their relationship that started without ever meeting in person, during an experiment on Netflix. They’ve been peacefully living their happy life together in London since the filming concluded last fall.
Jasmine said: ‘We definitely want a big family but maximum three children.
Going into the experiment, I was clear about my objectives and didn’t wish to squander my valuable time. I’ve had more than enough experience with time waste in the past. Moreover, I was aware of the subjects that held significance for me as well.
‘Our focus was never on fame or followers… and we have both won by finding each other.’
Since their commitment to one another last year and Bobby’s relocation from Stoke to London, the couple’s bond has only grown stronger, with them now sharing a life together in the city.
On the day of their wedding, it seems surreal as if it were a dream, with friends and family such as Jasmine’s mom, Marisa – whose protective parenting stirred discussions among spectators – gathering to rejoice in their union.
Reflecting on the nerve-wracking experience of tying the knot live on camera, Jasmine confessed, “I was trembling. Nothing quite compared to that in my past experiences.”
Initially, I believed I was composed, but upon seeing Bobby, an unexpected fit of laughter took over. I couldn’t suppress it, I was convulsing with laughter, my composure completely disrupted. My flowers were disarranged, my body reacted with a surge of nervousness, and tears streamed down my face uncontrollably.
Initially, I was shedding numerous tears, and those were tears of astonishment. Thoughts like, ‘Could this be my luck?’ constantly crossed my mind. Being part of a tiny family, encountering such a large family made me exclaim internally, ‘Wow, I’m now a Johnson, and I adore it!’
Among all the hurdles they faced as a fresh couple, Jasmine acknowledges that Bobby meeting her mother was one of the most difficult, especially since Marisa had expressed doubts about their dating trial and the longevity of their relationship.
On Jasmine’s special day, she found it difficult to hold back her feelings, breaking into tears when her daughter walked towards Bobby at the altar, adorned in a shimmering wedding dress embellished with sequins.
The pair has consistently honored their sincere promises and astonished their family by seldom involving themselves in disagreements.
Jasmine mentioned that relatives often inquire if we’ve had our initial disagreement as a couple. However, we’re simply not the type to quarrel, not even after marriage. Instead, we communicate openly and then move past it.
During our experiment, we had anticipated a significant obstacle, but the first major challenge turned out to be Bobby’s encounter with my mother. Remarkably, he managed this hurdle exceptionally well.
Bobby mentioned: ‘We’re both effective communicators; we don’t resort to arguments, instead, we discuss things and move forward. Our time in the pod during the show, based on our approach, led to some intense, thoughtful conversations that helped shape where we stand today.’
Jasmine acknowledges that her harmonious union with Bobby has offered her an opportunity to heal from past heartbreak, as she was deeply hurt by a former boyfriend’s betrayal.
Following her discussion about her insecurities on the Netflix series, the reality star expresses that her perspective has undergone a total transformation. Now, Bobby has instilled trust and compassion into their relationship.
She expressed that she has significantly developed. During the show, she admitted that while she desires her partner to provide a sense of security, she also acknowledged the need for personal growth and taking responsibility for her own actions.
‘I made a point not to revert back to unhealthy past behaviours and put all my trust in Bobby.
In the past, my actions towards Bobby might have seemed unjustified, but it’s important to understand that my lack of trust extended to my previous partners, not him. Now, with Bobby, things are different. I place complete trust in him because he has never given me a reason to doubt him. So, going forward, I hope to act differently, guided by the trust I have in him.
In my past, I’ve found myself in numerous relationships that didn’t work out, as I was attracted to a certain type that ultimately wasn’t suitable for me. Through these experiences, I’ve come to understand that beauty isn’t just skin deep – it’s essential to look beyond the physical and focus on shared values. Now, I strive to see the bigger picture and not get caught up in superficial appearances.
