Love Is Blind star, 29, reveals hair transplant… and the shocking five-figure sum he paid for the procedure

Jimmy Presnell of Love Is Blind fame is opening up about undergoing a hair transplant.

A 29-year-old celebrity from reality TV platforms lately posted on social networks, revealing the specifics about the beauty treatment they underwent.

Earlier this month, he mentioned in a TikTok video that he chose to undergo his treatment in the U.S., despite it being somewhat pricier than other options, because it offers additional benefits which I will elaborate on later.

Sharing with his almost 90,000 fans, he disclosed the shockingly high cost he spent on restoring his luscious locks.

The Netflix celebrity disclosed that they visited Solve Clinics, situated in River North, Chicago. On average, each graft costs around $5 there. As I recall, I had approximately 2,000 to 2,200 grafts, which would amount to about $10,000 to $11,000 for the treatment procedure.

Jimmy additionally informed his audience that extra charges and supplementary processes were elective, yet he opted for them himself.

In the video, he clarified the cost of platelet-rich plasma treatments, saying, ‘I’ve been administering PRP treatments, which I’ve discussed in some videos, and these usually range between $400 and $600.’

Instead of going abroad to Turkey for its booming hair transplant business, Jimmy chose to remain in the U.S.

During my assessment phase, I received estimates ranging between $3,000 and $5,000.

The package offered elements like travel and accommodation, plus other great perks, but lacked continuous communication or discussions with your surgeon. In essence, you were essentially discharged without much further interaction post-surgery, which means there wasn’t much of a follow-up or ongoing relationship established.

In December, Jimmy recorded and shared his surgical journey, from the operation itself to his daily progress during recovery, on his online platform.

Three days after his operation, he mentioned that the swelling is quite severe, causing discomfort when he tries to smile or laugh, and his head feels extremely dry.

Regarding his aim, Jimmy explained, ‘I didn’t aspire to strive for the hairline of a teenager aged 17 or 18. That’s unrealistic. Instead, I wanted to maintain a look that reflects my age and boasts thicker, more vibrant-looking hair. That’s what I’m aiming for here.’

In June he took to Instagram to share a six-month post-operation update with his 274,000 followers.

In a new development, six months after my hair transplant at Solve Clinics, I’m thrilled with the progress so far and can’t wait to witness even greater results in the future!

With a confident turn towards the camera, showcasing his revitalized hairline, he expressed excitement about the significant improvement he noticed during months four, five, and six.

Satisfied with his results, he said his hair is ‘getting thicker and thicker as the days go on.’  

Jimmy rose to fame when he appeared on Love Is Blind in early 2024.

At the time, his former fiancée Chelsea Blackwell went viral for claiming to look like Megan Fox.
