Love Code

JoJo Siwa didn’t really do much to stop people from talking more about the possible nature of her relationship with Chris Hughes, her fellow contestant on Celebrity Big Brother.

Last month, the American singer, who’s just turned 21, formed a remarkably tight friendship with the 32-year-old British television personality during their stint on the ITV reality program.

As a lifestyle connoisseur, I must admit there was quite the intrigue surrounding their bond. However, during a candid chat on This Morning, they set the record straight, assuring us all that we were merely good pals.

Despite some individuals remaining skeptical, this was particularly evident when Chris decided not to participate in the forthcoming season of Celebs Go Dating.

In simpler terms, during her talk at Stanford Speakers Bureau event titled “A Night with JoJo Siwa,” JoJo’s comments fueled speculation about a potential romantic relationship in the future as she didn’t deny the possibility.

The “Dance Moms” star was inquired about the development of their relationship, to which she replied: “Well, let me tell you, we have a blast spending time together and he’s truly a precious find in my life.

JoJo’s words elicited many “awws” from the audience, and in response, she playfully remarked, “Let’s keep this between us so he doesn’t get a big head!

She went on to say: “One thing I truly admire about him is his lack of ego, making him an exceptionally kind and sweet-natured person.

I shared this with him the other evening, though it might not have been the other evening but some time ago. I expressed that you are an essential component in my life that I hadn’t realized was absent.

I’m glad I no longer need to do that, so yes, he’s a fantastic individual and I believe he has a long future ahead.

As the crowd wolf whistled at her response, JoJo told them to grow up.

In my professional opinion, when it comes to Chris, I can confidently say he’s worth holding onto. We’re planning to continue nurturing our relationship with him, and we’ll just have to wait and see what the future brings.

During that seminar, I shared insights on my journey of self-discovery regarding my gender and sexual identity while I was in the Big Brother house.

She mentioned: “I didn’t prepare for it, but I strongly feel that life has its own course. Life doesn’t allow us to control how we live, and definitely not the future.

To put it simply, what I appreciate most in my personal journey of self-discovery is realizing that no matter what it entails, everything is acceptable to me.

Different areas may prove easier or harder to navigate, but regardless of the challenge, it’s all right. I’m growing increasingly comfortable with these variations as I advance in age.

It occurred to me that others may share the feeling of uncertainty, too. Therefore, it might be beneficial to understand that not knowing everything is acceptable.

In life, it’s perfectly okay if you don’t have every answer figured out. It’s more like a journey than a math quiz where getting all the answers right isn’t necessary. Aiming for perfection is not required here.

JoJo’s discussion took place several hours subsequent to Chris deciding to reverse his significant decision regarding Celebs Go Dating, an action prompted by his intense encounter on Celebrity Big Brother.

At first, Chris registered for the E4 dating program, but then he joined the Big Brother house instead.

Instead, he ultimately chose to decline the offer following his time on Celebrity Big Brother.

According to a shared announcement from Chris’ representative and an official spokesperson for Celebs Go Dating, it was confirmed by TopMob that after much deliberation with his advisors, Chris made a last-minute decision to withdraw from the show, following a demanding and emotional three weeks inside the house.

Before stepping into Big Brother, Chris had previously consented to become a client at the Celebs Go Dating agency, allowing their agents to manage his romantic affairs.

After an extraordinary and highly charged encounter within Big Brother, he’s opting for a bit of relaxation time to unwind.

In a mutual meeting of minds, it was agreed that he would not participate in the show this year. However, there’s always a possibility for him to join in the future.

It had been assumed that Chris would step in for Christine McGuinness, who left suddenly after only two weeks into filming, and join the program instead.

If he had chosen to remain, he would have been part of a group that included Kerry Katona (formerly of Atomic Kitten), Olivia Hawkins (a previous contestant on Love Island), and Jon Lee from S Club 7.

The playful camaraderie between Chris and JoJo, the singer known for her hit song “Leave (Get Out),” sparked rumors that their friendship might be something deeper. Some even suggested they were involved romantically, despite the fact that JoJo was in a committed relationship at that point, causing quite a stir among fans both inside and outside of the house.

Yet, their actions served to intensify the situation further, as JoJo, expressing her change in identity as no longer being a lesbian, dramatically ended her relationship with Kath Ebbs during the Big Brother’s Bit on the Side wrap party.

It seemed like Kath, who identifies with the pronouns they/them, might be implying that JoJo and Chris could have developed romantic feelings towards each other. This suggestion stemmed from Kath liking several TikTok comments that hinted at such a relationship.

Over the past weekend, they enjoyed playing tennis as a duo. On Monday, they graced the set of “This Morning” and affectionately called each other ‘soulmates.’

Chris stated: “Our friendship is something challenging to describe; it’s more like a very powerful connection. It’s a profound friendship. One could refer to such a relationship as a ‘soul mate friendship.’ I believe that concept does exist.

Host Ben Shephard inquired if JoJo desired anything beyond her friendship with Chris to be something more, to which she responded: “Well, he’s an outstanding individual. Our relationship is platonic. We enjoy spending time together immensely. As for the future, I have no idea what life holds; it will unfold as it will.

Fans have suggested that after leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house, Chris and JoJo have been communicating with a hidden message meaning ‘I love you’.

During their stint on the reality TV series, their unusually tight relationship caught many off guard. After leaving the show, they spent their initial weekend together by indulging in relaxing Sunday massages and leisurely park strolls.

On Monday evening, JoJo returned to Los Angeles to reconnect with her mom, Jessalyn, after an unforgettable trip to the United Kingdom.

Viewers believe that JoJo and Chris’s stay within the famous house provided them ample opportunity to develop a unique way of expressing their emotions towards each other.

In reaction to a TikTok post from This Morning where they were questioned about spending a day with someone inside the Big Brother House, many viewers pointed out that the duo often tap each other twice repeatedly.

There seemed to be a sense among the spectators that there might have been a secret message behind their actions. Some of the comments read: “Could it be that they’re using two quick taps as a way to express ‘I love you’? They seem to do it frequently.

‘The two little taps they gave each other at the end!!! Bet they’re code for ‘love you”;

‘lol there’s a lot of tapping going on’; ‘You are on to something.’;

It seems undoubtedly to me that those persistent taps are a hidden message or code.

1. ‘Wow, it seems quite evident that the last one was pointing with two fingers, indicating a double meaning, possibly love’;

2. ‘I just rewatched it, and there’s no doubt about it – that gesture was a subtle way of saying “I love you” in code.’
