Following the singer’s disclosure about potential wedding plans with his younger beau, Drew Michael, Louise’s upcoming journey has sparked curiosity.

The happy couple have been dating since October 2023 and have gone from strength to strength.

After separating from Jamie Redknapp in 2017 following 19 years of matrimony, the vocalist advanced with Drew. Together, they have two offspring, Charlie, aged 20, and William, who is 16.

Initially, I felt cautious and apprehensive. However, I must admit that I’m genuinely cherishing the unique moments we share together. He’s an exceptional individual with a heart full of kindness.

When asked about potential wedding plans, she responded: “I haven’t even considered that in my thoughts yet. I prefer to stay focused on the present.

I feel so thrilled about this and I’m eagerly looking forward to savoring every moment. I’ve encountered an exceptional individual, and my spirits are truly uplifted. Yet, one can never predict what tomorrow may bring.

In an interview, I mentioned that my two boys have a fantastic rapport with Drew, making our lives significantly smoother as a result.

Louise also hit back at ‘toyboy’ criticism due to their nine-year age gap.

She finds it unimportant or inconsequential when people label her as a “cougar,” stating that age isn’t a factor for her. In fact, she doesn’t feel any older than the person she’s with.

The interview takes place shortly after she disclosed the reasons behind being portrayed as the ‘antagonist’ following her separation from her former spouse, Jamie.

Louise shared openly about the allegations that she abandoned her loved ones, revealing that a variety of opinions were expressed regarding the matter.

In her conversation with The Independent, she said, “I was cast as the antagonist. For a long time, I had the good fortune to avoid much scrutiny in my career. Suddenly, everyone seems to have an opinion about me.

In my personal journey, I’ve chosen to eliminate anything that might be perceived negatively. I found myself in a predicament where nothing I said seemed right. Caught between a rock and a hard place, I realized both defending myself and not defending myself were wrong choices. It felt like I was on a one-way road with no turnoffs or exits.

In another location, Louise mentioned that she’s prepared to step beyond her usual comfort boundaries, and interestingly, some suggestive sounds can be found in her latest single.

She’s gearing up to unveil her latest album titled “Confessions,” and she’s firmly committed to creating music that moves forward, rather than relying on the past.

Louise stated that she isn’t concerned about others’ opinions, as some friends have wondered if there are excessive sexual sounds in her latest song “Get Into It,” which includes cries of pleasure.

Regarding co-writer Jon Shave, who contributed to Charli XCX’s album Brat, she commented: “Jon texted me, ‘Is there too much sexual content in this?’. My response was, ‘Jon, there’s never enough sexy sounds!’

I’ve often received similar comments. I get it. I’ve consistently stayed within the boundaries and met expectations. However, now, I’m choosing to step out of that comfort zone and say, ‘enough is enough!’

After Louise talked about her divorce from Jamie on the Happy Place podcast, she acknowledged that her two sons were instrumental in helping her persevere through the separation.

She expressed: “Without my children, I believe I might have surrendered. I feel like I instinctively understood that my children were my world, and they relied on me.

The singer confessed that the public’s examination of her marital troubles added to the challenges she faced in navigating through her divorce.

She stated: “However, I must truthfully assert, when you’re grappling with such deeply personal struggles amidst your unique turbulence, it can be overwhelming to face a deluge of criticism and harsh remarks.

‘I never realised people could be so unkind and say such terrible things. I blew my mind.’

In the midst of numerous challenges, I was striving to stay resilient for my children, ensuring their lives were not unduly affected by our personal struggles. Regardless of what we experienced as a family, it was something we chose to keep private – a choice I respect, regardless of the circumstances.

‘And God, I was such a villain, and I was breaking like I was absolutely breaking.

Going beyond my initial expectations, I discovered that being a human could withstand more than I had imagined, and yet, I am continually striving to fulfill the role of a mother.

Each time I ventured out, I felt compelled to mask my feelings and engage in activities, as though not doing so was somehow incorrect.

‘I felt like everything I did was so wrong.’

After the separation, Jamie became involved with Swedish model Frida Andersson and they married in the year 2021, subsequently welcoming a child into their family.
