Among the flowers left in remembrance was a display shaped like bowling pins, reflecting Liam’s love of the sport.
Harry showcased his new album artwork with images of himself wearing a unique outfit: a bowling pin-patterned shirt layered under a yellow sweater and a red tie.
Just weeks before a tragic accident, Liam celebrated his birthday in August with a bowling outing alongside his family and girlfriend, Kate Cassidy.
During the celebrations, he shared playful jokes on Snapchat, hinting that his security guard might lose his job if he lost to him again at bowling.
Back in 2012, the Daily Mail reported that Harry Styles and Liam Payne from One Direction enjoyed a bowling game when they had some downtime.
That year, the two friends spent their Christmas break bowling in Southport, England, and someone captured a photo of them enjoying the activity.
Following Liam’s death, Harry and the rest of the band described feeling ‘completely devastated’.
‘In time, and when everyone is able to, there will be more to say,’ they said.
Right now, we’re focusing on mourning and coping with the loss of our beloved brother.
