Louis Theroux’s new Netflix documentary, Inside The Manosphere, will be released soon, as announced with a short preview trailer. Following the success of his previous documentary Adolescence, Theroux explores the more radical side of the online ‘Manosphere’ in this 90-minute film.
The film examines how influential figures like Harrison Sullivan (also known as HS Tikky Tokky), Myron Gaines, Nicolas Kenn De Balinthazy (Sneako), Justin Waller, and Ed Matthews are impacting how young men view masculinity and contributing to the growing men’s rights movement worldwide.
The streamer shared that Louis deeply explores the world of the movement, meeting key people who each have unique perspectives on traditional ideas about gender and values.

The documentary Inside The Manosphere will also look at common terms like “red-pilling,” which were briefly mentioned in the series Adolescence. It will explore why these ideas are attractive to some, and also share the viewpoints of the women who seem to support them.
As reported by Deadline, the documentary was filmed before the release of Adolescence, but Louis Theroux has noted a connection between the two in terms of their subject matter.

He explained that while the new work isn’t similar to Adolescence, it explores themes that the character in that earlier piece might have been interested in. He sees Adolescence as a way to test the idea, but believes they already understood the topic was compelling and didn’t need to prove its potential.
The Netflix drama created by Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne, which premiered in March 2025, quickly became a major talking point, prompting widespread discussions about how boys are raised, the impact of the internet, and what it means to be a man. These issues remain incredibly relevant today.
The Netflix documentary Inside The Manosphere was created by Mindhouse Productions, a company started by Louis Theroux and filmmakers Arron Fellows and Nancy Strang.
So, Louis Theroux is doing his first docuseries for Netflix, which is cool, but Mindhouse actually got him onto the platform with a two-part series called Can I Tell You A Secret? before this. I checked it out, and it’s a good intro to his style if you’re new to his work.
Louis Theroux: Inside The Manosphere will launch globally on 11 March, 2026.
