In simpler terms, Lottie Tomlinson showcased her toned midriff while lounging in a tiny pink swimsuit during a sunny day out in Marbella alongside her partner Lewis Burton last Friday.
In an enjoyable family vacation, the recently-engaged pair, from November 2023, spend quality time with their kids – two-year-old son Lucky and six-month-old daughter Flossie Grace.
On their entertaining vacation, Lottie, aged 27, and retired tennis pro Lewis, aged 33, appeared as content and joyous partners.
In a colorful pink two-piece, the mother of two proudly showcased her toned abs. Meanwhile, Lewis, dressed in eye-catching swim shorts, displayed his well-defined muscles by flexing.
Initially, she confessed that viewing her body after pregnancy had been challenging for her. She further shared her personal experiences with the difficult challenges of breastfeeding.
During a Q&A, it became apparent that she’s been struggling to accept her new self-image after giving birth.
In response to a question about her feelings regarding her physical appearance, Lottie admitted that dealing with the change in her body following pregnancy is challenging for her.
Next to a selfie in a mirror, she wrote: ‘It’s tough to face your postpartum body, especially after putting on extra pounds.’
‘I definitely accept it more this time round but it’s hard to know how to dress and feel nice.
Even though I yearn to stay in my pajamas all day, I know I should make an effort as a new mom these past few weeks. I’m trying to find balance between relaxation and taking care of myself. I can’t wait to resume my fitness routine and rediscover my old self.”
And a reminder to all new mothers: Be kind to yourself, it takes time to adjust to this new role. It’s not easy, but you’re doing great!
Lottie and Lewis’s happy appearance comes after Lottie’s health scare in Abu Dhabi in June.
Lottie (Louis Tomlinson’s sister) mentioned that she began experiencing stomach discomfort during their flight, and the pain escalated before she ultimately threw up.
Upon arriving in Abu Dhabi accompanied by her model partner and their kids, Lottie sought medical attention due to discomfort, only for an intravenous solution to be ineffective. Consequently, she was admitted to the hospital where they diagnosed appendicitis.
On June 19, Lottie found herself needing an urgent operation to take out her appendix, which she shared about on Instagram from her hospital bed while she was recovering.
In a recent update, Lottie shared on her Instagram Stories that she was released from the hospital.
After leaving the hospital in a taxi, she posted a picture of us together. The caption reads: ‘Heading to the hotel to rest. I appreciate all your supportive messages tremendously.’
Later on, she posted a touching photo of Lewis alongside their two kids swimming, captioned: “I’m back home where I should be. You always manage to improve things.
Yesterday, Lottie shared with her audience that she hadn’t anticipated starting our journey in this manner.
To be honest, I wasn’t anticipating my journey kicking off in such a manner, but now, looking back, I can only express gratitude for my current state of recovery. The ride here, especially aboard that airplane, was a turbulent one; I experienced some pretty severe abdominal discomfort.
Upon arrival, I began experiencing vomiting. In essence, my visit to the doctor ensued, where they administered an intravenous drip. Regrettably, this treatment didn’t alleviate the persistent abdominal discomfort I was enduring.
As a lifestyle connoisseur, I found myself unexpectedly escorted to the hospital, unveiling an appendicitis diagnosis. Consequently, I underwent surgery to eliminate the affected appendix last night. Thankfully, the operation was successful, and I am currently in the process of making a speedy recovery.
I am deeply appreciative of every nurse and doctor who has cared for me, and I am wishing for a speedy recovery.
