Lorraine Kelly discussed the ongoing fallout from the Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein scandal on her show this morning. She shared her thoughts on the latest updates regarding the former prince, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
On her show Lorraine on ITV1, she called the situation “absolutely disgusting, it really is.”
Okay, so she just said they’ve definitely figured out who the bad guys are in all of this. It’s about those new emails that came out from the US House Oversight Committee, and they completely destroy Andrew’s story about that infamous 2001 photo with Virginia Giuffre. He’s claimed either he never met her, or that the picture might have been faked, but these emails prove he’s not being truthful at all. It’s pretty damning stuff, honestly.

Epstein confirmed to his publicist, through their email exchange, that the woman was indeed on his plane and that she had a photo taken with Prince Andrew, just like many of his staff.
Emails show that in 2011, four months after Andrew stated he’d stopped communicating with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell (a convicted sex trafficker), he was actually emailing them. He complained about press coverage of their connection, saying he “can’t take any more of this,” despite previously claiming he had “nothing to do with” them.
The newly released emails have increased scrutiny on President Trump, suggesting he had a closer relationship with Jeffrey Epstein than was previously known. President Trump continues to maintain that he did nothing wrong.
Lorraine commented on an email Andrew sent to Ghislaine Maxwell, saying it was the first time he’d sounded genuinely emotional. He wrote that he ‘couldn’t cope with this anymore,’ and Lorraine described the situation surrounding it as ‘so murky’.
I’m still reeling from it, but this week saw the release of over 20,000 pages from the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into Jeffrey Epstein and the powerful people connected to him. It’s a lot of information to go through, but it feels like we’re finally getting a clearer picture of everything that happened.
Virginia Giuffre, who tragically died earlier this year, had previously alleged she was sexually abused by Prince Andrew as a minor on three separate occasions. Prince Andrew vehemently denies these claims.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his royal titles this week.
