Lorraine Kelly briefly displayed a bruise on her eye, then confessed she felt rather foolish after a mishap at home led to a tumble.

On Thursday morning, the 65-year-old television host first alarmed viewers with her puffy face during her broadcast. Later, she explained that she had accidentally fallen into a decorative rhino statue while carrying laundry.

On Friday, Lorraine tried to conceal her wound using stylish sunglasses during an Instagram video, but her noticeable bruise continued to show through the tinted glasses.

Lorraine shared with her followers that she would be discussing her new book on Scott Mills’ Radio 2 morning program, all while sporting sparkling sunglasses.

In her conversation with Scott, Lorraine didn’t provide extensive information about the incident, yet she acknowledged feeling somewhat foolish as she empathized with a caller who had experienced a similar mishap.

In response to the caller expressing improved feelings due to shared experiences with a celebrity, making it more socially acceptable for her to struggle, Lorraine concurred, stating that, yes, it is indeed acceptable in society.

As an overly enthusiastic fan, I can’t help but share this delightful banter between Lorraine and Scott. They playfully pondered about the caller lacking a tripping Rhino, with Scott inquiring why he hadn’t spotted my gigantic, cumbersome Rhino on Gogglebox. Lorraine casually revealed that her Rhino was simply hiding, being quite massive and challenging to relocate.

Earlier, Lorraine openly disclosed the reason for her puffy face during a Live appearance on Loose Women on Thursday, responding to concerned fans who inquired whether it was due to cosmetic fillers or an adverse reaction.

Following a stir caused by her previous interview on Good Morning Britain, the Scottish host subsequently sat down with Charlene White (age 44), Judi Love (age 44), Nadia Sawalha (age 60), and Linda Robson (age 60) on Loose Women for a discussion that encompassed her experience as a grandmother, among other topics.

Before engaging in conversation, Lorraine felt compelled to clarify some rumors surrounding her appearance, as several viewers had reached out expressing concern.

Yesterday, as a woman, you may have found yourself attempting to accomplish numerous tasks simultaneously at a quick pace. Lorraine clarified this.

In my home, I carried a large load of laundry resembling a washing basket, yet it was so bulky I couldn’t tell its size. As I moved from the kitchen to the living room, there was a small step in my path.

‘My slippers are too big and I fell over and fell onto a rhino!’ 

She added: “I assumed everything would be alright, but when I awoke this morning, I had a massive black eye.

Lorraine clarified that many people who found her appealing had wondered if she had any allergies, however, she assured everyone that she does not have any such condition.

She likewise clarified rumors concerning possible facial injectables, stating emphatically: ‘Am I a user of fillers? Absolutely not!’

Previously, Lorraine appeared alongside Ed Balls, aged 58, and Susanna Reid, aged 54, on Good Morning Britain to inform the audience about the upcoming content in her program.

Lorraine looked ultra stylish in a plunging low cut brown maxi dress. 

She styled her brunette locks into her classic loose waves and opted for glamorous make-up. 

However, some rushed to X, formerly known as Twitter, to point out the same thing. 

One said: ‘@GMB what has happened to Lorraine? Her face and eyes look swollen.’

Another questioned: ‘What’s happened to Lorraine’s face ? Looks like an allergic reaction.’ 

While a third wrote: ‘Has she been stung by a wasp?’

A fourth added: ‘Hope you’re okay Lorraine, looks like an allergy that’s affecting your eyes.’
