Lorraine Kelly shares health update after she “fell onto a rhino”

As a gamer, I just wanted to hop on here and share some news about my recent adventure. Seems like some folks got worried when they heard the word “rhino” floating around, so let me set the record straight. It wasn’t a wild rhino that gave me a run for my money; instead, it was an unfortunate mishap with a medical device called a rhino-nose catheter. Everything’s cool now, and I wanted to thank everyone for their concern!

Today, the presenter was quite occupied across ITV, as she graced not only her own program but also made appearances on both ‘Good Morning Britain’ and ‘Loose Women’, with her own show sandwiching these two shows in between.

During her appearances on the three different programs, some viewers observed that Lorraine seemed to have a swollen or bloated facial appearance, leading others to speculate if the host might have experienced an allergic response.

In her interview on Loose Women, Lorraine explained the reason behind her bruise when Linda Robson commented about her “small injury”, to which Lorraine responded, “Yes, let me tell you why.

She recollected, referring to an event from the day before, “I was attempting to handle numerous tasks all at once in a hurry.” At that moment, she had a large pile of laundry, struggled to see, and kept moving from the kitchen to the living room without being able to see clearly.

Once upon a small staircase, my oversized slippers tripped me up, causing me to tumble over. Unfortunately, I landed on a massive wooden rhino sculpture! In my confusion, I even placed my face against it, thinking everything was okay. However, when I awoke this morning, I discovered the largest shiner I’ve ever had.

Later on, Lorraine clarified the assumption about her supposed allergic reaction, stating: “Many people asked, ‘Are you alright? Do you have allergies?’ Our viewers are so thoughtful! They were suggesting, ‘You should try this!’ However, it’s not an allergy, and it’s definitely not fillers!

While Lorraine was recovering from an unlucky fall, it was announced in January that she had finished the initial draft for her second book. She shared that typing “the end” were the most delightful and satisfying words for a writer to see.

Lorraine airs on ITV.
