Lorraine Kelly reveals reason she’s missing NTAs

As a seasoned gamer and empath, I find myself deeply moved by Lorraine Kelly‘s candid confession about her struggles with self-confidence. Having navigated countless digital realms and battled countless virtual adversaries, I can attest to the fact that confidence is indeed a powerful ally in any realm, be it virtual or real.

Lorraine Kelly has made it clear that she won’t be going to the National Television Awards this evening on September 11th.

In today’s episode of her ITV talk program, the host shared her personal battles with self-assurance in an open conversation with her guest, Holly Matthews – a confidence mentor, who graced the show to discuss her freshly released book titled “Find Your Confidence“.

“It’s the NTAs, and normally I would be going to that and I would usually go,” Lorraine shared.

“I’ve got this strange feeling that I can’t shake off, and it’s making me hesitant about going out. The idea of the red carpet event just seems intimidating sometimes.

Holly responded, “Indeed, you’re under a spotlight everyday. It often feels like people are constantly watching, judging, and questioning your worth.

At that point, it’s more about redirecting your attention to the interactions you have with others and the happenings around you, rather than being absorbed in your thoughts and personal concerns.

Regarding Holly’s book, Lorraine remarked: “This book is extremely useful, offering sound guidance. It’s just plain common sense.

This past month, Lorraine shared on social platforms that her daughter, Rosie Smith, welcomed a baby girl named Billie on August 29th – marking the first grandchild for Lorraine.

I’ve been absolutely thrilled to bits to tell you all! Little Billie is such a blessing, and I couldn’t be prouder of Rosie Kelly-Smith and Steve White – they’re going to make incredible parents!

Last week, the delighted grandmother posted a charming video showing Billie extending her tiny limbs – hands and feet.

The 2024 National Television Awards, presented by Joel Dommett, airs tonight at 8pm on ITV.
