Lorraine Kelly is hoping viewers will continue watching her show, Lorraine, on ITV, despite some big changes coming to the program. In an interview with The Standard, Kelly discussed the plans to air the show for only 30 weeks a year starting in 2026, and to shorten each episode to 30 minutes.
My show has been scheduled at various times – 8:30, 8:45, 9:00, and even 9:10. I really hope viewers continue to tune in and enjoy it, because that’s what matters most to me.
It’s incredibly heartwarming to have such kind and loyal fans after all this time. When I’m out, people often greet me like an old friend, which is a truly special experience – I don’t think many people get that kind of connection.

Kelly explained that after doing this for a long time, she’s developed a strong connection with people, but she never forgets how lucky she is. She truly appreciates it, because it’s a real honour.
Kelly has been very open about the recent changes and recently discussed them in an interview with The Mirror. She explained she plans to continue doing what she’s doing as long as people are still interested, saying, “I’ll keep going until people get tired of me.”

Things were tough when the cuts happened, really difficult. I feel much better about it now, but my main concern was always the team, not myself. I wasn’t upset for my own sake – it was all about how it affected everyone else.
While Lorraine might appear on TV less in 2026, Kelly will still be very active, continuing to host the show and pursuing other projects. She recently finished writing her second novel and shared the news on Instagram.
Kelly announced to her fans that she’s completed her second novel, The Island Secret, which will be released next year. She expressed her hope that readers will love it and is eager to get their feedback.
As reported by The Standard, the well-known broadcaster has finished filming a three-part travel show about Norway. The series will debut on Channel 4 in January.
The latest issue of Living Legends is now available, and it’s dedicated to the incredible Dolly Parton! You can purchase “Dolly at 80” from newsagents or online for only £8.99.
