Lorraine Kelly, 65, shows off her ‘real body’ in white bikini as she blasts edited social media snaps, telling viewers ‘I’ve got a belly!’
On her ITV program, Lorraine Kelly openly displayed her natural figure in a swimsuit photo, and candidly shared with viewers that she has a belly.
On her weekly program, the cherished hostess, aged 65, displayed a photo taken during her vacation, where she was wearing a white bikini. She showed this picture on Thursday’s broadcast.
I had the pleasure of inviting Emily Clarkson, daughter of Jeremy Clarkson, into our studio for a discussion about the potential risks associated with digitally modifying photos prior to sharing them on social platforms.
Emily, 30, is known for her candid posts on social media about body positivity.
In the course of our discussion, Lorraine showed a picture of her swimming pool to illustrate the capabilities of technology in editing or enhancing images (i.e., making adjustments or improvements).

To facilitate comparison for both home viewers and those in the studio, Lorraine’s authentic image was positioned side by side with a modified version, clearly demonstrating changes in her physical appearance.
Other distinct modifications were made to her arms and chest area, which initially caused Lorraine to laugh upon seeing them.
She said: ‘It just shows you what you can do now.
From my perspective as a lifestyle enthusiast, the usefulness of a tool largely relies on its intended purpose. In my personal experience, there have been instances where I’ve found myself chuckling upon using or observing something unexpectedly amusing. In such moments, I can’t help but exclaim, “Goodness me!
In a straightforward manner, the Scottish actor emphasized the truthfulness of the image, stating: “It’s quite common really, I have a belly like many others.
Lorraine then recalled when she stripped off on her show nine years ago for The Bikini Promise.

Lorraine playfully reminisced, saying, “I applied plenty of self-tanner, and look at me now – I’m as orange as a satsuma!

ITV has recently reduced the length of the Lorraine show from an hour (60 minutes) to half an hour (30 minutes), making it a seasonal program instead of airing every day.
Earlier, TopMob shared that ITV executives offered Lorraine an opportunity to combine her daytime program with Good Morning Britain and present the final half-hour segment, however, she chose not to accept it.
Last month, she was unexpectedly summoned to a meeting before the channel announced its budget reductions. During this gathering, she was presented with a fresh plan, which had been deemed a straightforward solution following the adoption of a similar approach during the pandemic.
Reports indicate that Lorraine took offense at the proposal and communicated this to higher-ups, causing the run-time of her program to be cut down from an hour to half an hour.
Lorraine, who has been hosting her show for the last 14 years, was considering leaving but ultimately decided to stay on board and host the series up until the end of 2026.
Next year, it’s expected that the star will leave permanently following the creation of a new position called “Head of Lorraine.” This role has been established to manage the upcoming changes. However, this contract lasts only for a year.
