Lorna Luxe Shares Hopeful Update Amid John’s Cancer Battle
Lorna Luxe recently posted on Instagram about some good news related to her husband John’s health struggle with cancer, which she shared on a Friday update.
For 15 years, the couple, with the woman known as Lorna Andrews and her husband John (who are 21 years apart in age), have chosen to live without children while being married for that duration.
In the month of April, 2023, John received a diagnosis of stage three cancer and subsequently began chemotherapy treatment. A year later, in 2024, he achieved remission.
In May 2024, Lorna disclosed that John’s cancer had spread to his brain and reappeared in his adrenal gland.
In her most recent health news, Lorna announced that John’s brain is now free from cancer. This means that a tumor can be safely removed from his adrenal gland.
‘Good news to share… John’s scan results are in, and there’s no sign of cancer in his brain, which had been causing him concern.’
However, the most promising update is that his doctor has cleared the path for removing the tumor in his adrenal gland through surgery.
‘This is hope.’
Lorna first encountered John at age 25 during her eight-year tenure with Virgin Atlantic as a flight attendant. They married shortly thereafter in New York City, and then settled down in Hove, East Sussex, followed by Horsham, before moving to their current residence in Warwickshire.
After receiving my stage three cancer diagnosis and witnessing Lorna’s soaring influence as an influencer, I decided it was time for a change in my life. So, I traded in my banking career to prioritize my health recovery and assist Lorna with her endeavors.
Caught up in their enchanting age-gap romance, I can’t help but gush about them! Just a while ago, I excitedly posted a heartwarming video on Instagram, shedding light on the fascinating tale of their love story.
On a charming video of them snuggling on the sidewalk, she wrote: ‘A 21-year age difference. Married for 15 years. He’s a Libra. He manages his own wardrobe. I don’t personally handle the bills, but my business finances our lifestyle. We don’t have a shared bathroom, yet we do exchange clothes…’
‘We don’t have kids and that was choice not situation’.
She penned a note saying: ‘Commonly asked queries… It’s heartwarming to see John thrive following a tough year; he’s truly embracing his leading role, and I couldn’t be more honored to have him as my companion. Adore this guy x’.
In the year 2023, Lorna opened up to The Times about her relationship, discussing how they manage their finances and work distribution, stating: ‘Upon meeting him, I was earning only £12,000 a year as an air hostess. There was certainly an uneven flow of money…’
However, we have always shared everything mutually, and beyond a certain point, this has never caused any problems. In fact, it reached a stage where John’s daily commute to work started costing us financially, as we had to reject job offers due to his unavailability and he couldn’t take my photographs…
Ultimately, we decided at management level for him to depart from the bank, which took approximately two years. His departure occurred in December, and just a month later, he received a cancer diagnosis in January.
