Lori Loughlin, 61, looks youthful as she leads stars at LA charity event… after claims she is ‘extremely angry’ at ex Mossimo Giannulli

Lori Loughlin recently turned heads at a Los Angeles charity event while reports surfaced that she’s very upset with her estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, following their breakup after 28 years of marriage.

Former Full House star, 61, appeared remarkably young while heading the celebrity lineup at the grand opening of the new kitchen and campus funded by The Chuck Lorre Family Foundation and hosted by Project Angel Food.

The actress looked casual cool in a lacy white top with blue jeans and brown leather heels.

She accessorized with a beaded necklace, silver bracelets, and a ring on her right ring finger.

She wore her highlighted hair down and used makeup to enhance her natural radiance, finishing the look with glossy lips.

Other stars in attendance included Jamie Lee Curtis, Sandra Lee, Judith Light, and Sharon Lawrence.

The new Chuck Lorre Family Foundation Kitchen & Campus significantly expands Project Angel Food’s space, more than doubling it from around 7,700 square feet to 16,000 square feet.

The upgraded kitchen now has three cooking lines, up from one, allowing us to triple our meal production. We can now make over 4.5 million meals a year, and serve more than 10,000 people each day throughout Los Angeles County.

Sources say Lori Loughlin is still struggling emotionally after publicly separating from her husband, Mossimo Giannulli.

In early October, news surfaced that the couple was divorcing after 28 years of marriage. A friend claimed the actress found concerning texts and emails on her husband’s phone, leading to the split.

Later reports suggested the split was caused by ongoing issues stemming from the couple’s involvement in the well-known college admissions scandal.

As a lifestyle expert, I remember when the college admissions scandal broke in 2019, and it was shocking. Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli actually paid someone half a million dollars to essentially fake their daughters, Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose, as top rowing athletes. They did this to try and get them into the University of Southern California – it was a really calculated, and ultimately illegal, attempt to influence the admissions process.

Despite first claiming they had done nothing wrong, both eventually admitted to conspiracy charges. Giannulli was sentenced to five months in prison, and Loughlin to two.

The situation between the actress and fashion designer is still tense. Sources say she’s very upset with him, and People magazine reports they’ve been living apart since their breakup.

The Daily Mail hasn’t received a reply after reaching out to representatives for both Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli for comment.

‘Lori is still extremely angry with him,’ a source told the outlet of the estranged exes.

According to a source, Lori Loughlin, 61, and Mossimo Giannulli, 62, have been living apart and leading independent lives since their split.

Despite the lingering tension, a third insider suggests the feeling is not mutual.

‘He thinks she’s a lovely person and an incredible mom,’ the insider says of the fashion designer.

The source adds that Giannulli is eager to avoid further conflict.

‘He wants everything resolved quietly.’

When news of Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli’s split first hit the media, I heard from her team that they were essentially taking some time apart and reassessing things. They clarified at the time that they weren’t pursuing a divorce or any kind of legal separation – it was more of a pause to figure things out. It was a way of managing the situation publicly while they navigated what was happening privately.

Around the same time, the actress was photographed outside the Bird Streets Club in Los Angeles, warmly embracing James Tupper, who previously worked with her on Great American Family and was once in a relationship with Anne Heche.

Later that day, Lori Loughlin’s husband, Mossimo Giannulli, was seen shopping in Beverly Hills with stylist Hannah Harrison, who is 32 years old.

Harrison quickly dismissed rumors of a romantic connection, explaining to Us Weekly that they were simply working together and the situation looked different than it was due to unfortunate timing.

I visited the G/FORE Supply store without realizing they had recently announced their split. I was planning to meet him there, and we were good friends, she explained.

The pair were later seen arriving together at West Hollywood nightclub Zouk in November.

Even though they’ve been seen together in public, a source says Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are still on good terms and aren’t bitter about their split. In fact, the breakup is said to be more peaceful than many assume, and Giannulli was even reportedly invited to Loughlin’s family Christmas celebration.

According to a source, the Full House actor and the fashion designer are currently living apart and considering their options, with divorce seeming likely.

On October 20th, John Stamos, who starred with Lori Loughlin on Full House, discussed her separation from Mossimo Giannulli in an interview on the Good Guys podcast.

‘She put up with a lot over the years of this guy,’ Stamos said.

She’s understandably heartbroken. Knowing she’s always been a wonderful person, a great mother, and a loving wife – and I know this to be true – it’s just awful to see her going through a separation and having her family fall apart. It really pains me to watch her suffer.

Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli are said to be separating after years of marital problems, which were worsened by the controversy surrounding their daughters’ college admissions.

In early October, her representative announced that she and Giannulli had split after 28 years of being married.

I’ve always admired Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, and I was so happy for them when they had their two beautiful daughters. Their oldest, Isabella ‘Bella’ Rose, is 27, and Olivia Jade is 26 – they’ve both grown into such amazing young women!

According to Elizabeth Much, Lori Loughlin’s representative, the couple is currently separated and taking some time apart to reassess their marriage. As of that time, they had not filed for divorce or initiated any legal action.

Because of her legal issues, Lori Loughlin wasn’t in season five of Fuller House. She did return to television in late 2021 with a two-part Christmas episode of When Hope Calls.

In June 2022, she publicly reappeared on the red carpet at the DesignCare 2022 Gala held at RJ’s Place. The event supported the HollyRod Foundation and marked her first appearance since the scandal.

Loughlin recently shared with First for Women magazine how she coped with the difficult experiences she went through in April 2024.

She said she makes an effort to forgive and doesn’t like to dwell on things. Everyone goes through difficult times, she explained.

It’s common to need forgiveness at times, but truly understanding how to ask for it means also being able to forgive others.

She explained that her family was forgiving. Growing up, mistakes weren’t held against anyone, and people were always quick to move past them.
