Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha admits she and husband Mark Adderley have nearly divorced ‘many, many times’

Nadia Sawalha shared that she and her husband, Mark Adderley, have come close to divorce on several occasions during their 23 years of marriage, in a recent video.

Stacey Solomon, 61, known for her appearances on Loose Women, was very open and honest when speaking to her fans in a recent clip from her and Mark’s podcast, Coffee Moaning.

We’ve faced the possibility of divorce countless times. We’ve gone to couples counseling and really worked hard to make our marriage last, she explained.

Nadia and her husband, a 56-year-old film producer, have been married since 2002. They are parents to two daughters: Maddie, who is 21, and Kiki-Bee, 16.

In 2022, the TV personality publicly expressed her deep love for her husband while celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary, admitting they rely on each other completely.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, she described their marriage as a beautiful mess – a rollercoaster of emotions that included everything from joy and excitement to anger, exhaustion, and even fear. It was a relationship filled with both incredible highs and challenging lows, but ultimately one that was connected, faithful, and full of love.

Okay, let’s be real. Life is short, and I’m a firm believer in embracing joy and connection. That whole ’til death do us part’ thing? It’s a beautiful sentiment, but it’s also a reminder to live fully right now. Sometimes that means indulging in a little bit of silliness – maybe a cheeky snack and a whole lot of laughter. Honestly? I’m craving some quality time with my favorite person, just the two of us, having a genuinely good time. Let’s ditch the serious stuff and just enjoy life, shall we? ❤️

Oh my gosh, you won’t BELIEVE this! Just last month, right before the holidays, I found out her mother-in-law, Diane, was seriously ill and in the hospital! It’s just awful, and it meant they had to cancel all their shows. I’m so worried about Diane, and honestly, my heart breaks for them all. It’s just… devastating!

The actress announced on social media that she and Mark are postponing their Coffee Moaning podcast episode and upcoming live streams on YouTube.

Nadia announced the cancellations, explaining they were because of a family member’s illness.

But the day before, she’d mentioned in the comments of her latest YouTube video that Diane, lovingly known as ‘Nanny Di,’ wasn’t feeling well.

I was so disappointed to hear that Coffee Moaning and all live shows on The Sawalha Addlerley’s YouTube channel have been cancelled. Apparently, it’s due to a family illness, and they’ve had to make the tough decision to focus on what’s most important right now. Sending all my best wishes to them and their family!

‘We will let you know more asap. Love Nadia and Mark.’

Nadia shared on YouTube that Mark’s mother, Diane – who her followers lovingly call ‘Nanny Di’ – is currently unwell in the hospital.

Nadia and Mark have a popular family YouTube channel with over 150,000 subscribers. They share daily video vlogs and also host a daily podcast called Coffee Moaning.

Mark recently posted photos of his mother, Diane, on Instagram for Mother’s Day. He shared that she’s had a difficult year, but he’ll always support her, playfully calling her more of a ‘mate’ than a traditional ‘mom.’ He finished with a loving message: ‘Love you mom x.’

Nadia bravely discussed her husband’s struggles with addiction on the show Loose Women, visibly emotional as she spoke about it.

She was joined in the ITV studio by host Kaye Adams and fellow panellists Oti Mabuse and Judi Love.

When people shared their experiences, it became clear that Nadia, age 60, deeply understood what it’s like to help a family member or friend cope with mental health challenges.

Let’s be real, navigating a partner’s mental health journey is complex. I’ve seen it firsthand, and it’s something I approach with a lot of empathy. It’s a delicate balance, because while I’m there to support my husband, Mark, through his struggles, I also acknowledge my own good fortune in not personally experiencing those same challenges. It’s about offering unwavering support while recognizing and appreciating my own mental wellbeing, and honestly, a lot of gratitude that I don’t face those hurdles myself.

‘When he’s low, it can be very hard but it’s not as hard as what he’s going through.

She concluded, her voice thick with emotion and tears welling up, that she helps him find tiny glimmers of light when it’s pitch black.
